Yeah it's truly one of the best grenades in the game. I kinda wish the Defender subclass had it as well. The suppressor grenade is not bad by many means but it doesn't affect all enemies, which the flashbang does. It gives everyone a chance to get up close with the enemy, even the most powerful ones. If you have a shotgun, that's the time to use it. :)
 
Just tried the raid for the first time, didn't get anything special but it was a lot of fun. Good change of pace from the usual flow of the strikes.

Yeah that sucks. I got a chest piece, a solar damage scout Rifle, and Ice Breaker just from doing the last two-part boss.
 
Okay coo, completed Nightfall. Neogaf is awesome. Got flooded with friend invites and we handled our business. It wasn't pretty, we used every trick in the book to get her done.

I thought I was supposed to get like 6-9 strange coins from Nightfall?

Instead I received 10 Ascendant energies. Getting +500 vanguard rep was awesome though. I'm almost Rank 2 Vanguard which is not bad for a primary Crucible player.

Thunderdevil is pretty awesome, got it from a Cryptarch package as well.

Also got Arctic Proxy from him too, which is basically a poor man's Chatterwhite but I prefer it to Chatterwhite actually.

possible rewards are

-Legendary
-Exotic
-6-10 strange coins
-10-12 ascendant shard or energies
-Legendary engram (wut)
 
Anybody wanna help me with Nightfall before the update? I have yet to finish it because I've failed so many times.

Apparently there are some people here that have actually soloed it...would one or some of you...strong players help little me? Pwez? :3 (little as in lv 27 warlock)

If you're on PS4 I'd be happy to.
 
It sucks to have enough shards to get to level 30 but be stuck on 29 because VoG won't give you those last 2 set legendaries.

Yeah the RNG in the Nightfall reward is a little too much. I was salty enough when I got 6 Strange Coins and Hawkian got 9 in the same run. And the guy we carried got Truth. Come on now.

I've heard the raid helm doesn't even drop in normal VoG. Which seems a bit dumb considering exotics helms are pretty equal opportunity to get outside VoG.

shards/energy are the hardest things to find. So, consider yourself lucky.
 
I can't wait to see the butthurt of people who stored up all of their engrams and didn't bother to read the patch release, only to find their stash full of blues. I plan on drowning in tears.

Oh ho ho ho ho. You think I don't know that?

I don't technically have them yet. But there's a nice package at the postmaster that has yet to be converted to a legendary item addressed to me. If that doesn't work I've also got a couple engrams stashed away to push me well past rank 20 with the tekker come patch time. Then I'll be expecting a nice shiny purple from Mr. Rahool himself.
 
The Suros Regime needs a serious nerf. I can go up against guys in pvp and score just as many headshots with my shingen and they won't have the jump on me and I'll still die before they are even at a quarter health. Exotics are supposed to be great, but not this great.
why didn't I buy one :,(
