I got 10. Gonna try to burn through them. I'll do the Restoration method since people said it's still in rotation. I did the one in Mars last night with some dudes and it was pretty tough. Got another stupid chest armor again for it.

was nice I know! I did not explain my situation properly, sorry. I don't currently have any legendaries..
All I have is a shit ton of blues to decrypt so I can level up Rahool. I know that he's gonna give me legendaries for leveling him up, like he has for the past 4 levels. Those are the purples I don't want to see demoted, and although I could claim them now, I would just fall victim of his bullshit (they would mostly turn into blues, maybe coins at best).
So I left him really really close to next level, and have been gathering blues without having them decrypted. That way, I can do it after the patch hits and the new rules apply. They can't demote what doesn't exist yet (the eventual reward for leveling up is not even in the postmaster yet) so I think I might dodge that bullet.
Only got 2 legendaries in the past two days, had them decrypted right away cause of the downgrade - got very lucky actually, for once. Legendary gauntlets (that I didn't have and was planning to buy) and 3 strange coins, so it could have been worse. Once got the Last Word out of a Legendary from him, but that's the only time he has done right by me. 80% of the time this fucker gives me nothing but blues, once he even gave me a green out of a legendary.
This patch will do wonders for our sanity. Sure, Legendaries might become what they should be: something very rare, but at least we will know something good will come out of it, like we deserve. Not some useless lvl 16 rare weapon.
The real kick in the pants would be a reduced rank reward for decrypting engrams in consideration of people saving engrams regardless of demotion. I'd believe they'd do it since Bungie addresses these types of issues with all the finesse of a jackhammer

So, I'm up to level 18 and only have a few missions left in the game (the final mission and a couple of side missions).
I have zero idea what is happening with the story, but did wonder why all of these different alien races all used the same drop ships if they are fighting each other and seem to have different tech.
Either way, I'm enjoying the game somewhat. I went through the strike on Mars (Cerberus something something) and it was really difficult with three level 16s (using the strike matchmaking option) but we got through it.
Not sure how much more I'll get out of the game. Hopefully the end-game really piques my interest since I'm about out of "new" content.

Because last week that's when the other patch went live Bungie can't realize people would natruely assume it would be today but they seem to love being vague for some reason that's why they should have a patch day and stick to it @_@

Earth is still in, did two Earth runs yesterday.... got chest piece both times....
I hope they didn't remove that mission as it was the fastest to complete.
The rotation trick is kinda busted, sometimes you go to orbit and get a different one straight away, other times feels like it's locked and you have to try 3 times in a row till it changes. I think it might be connected to time, everytime I wait 30 secs-1 min after rerolling it gives me a different mission. If I keep trying non stop it repeats the same.
Arc damage and unflinching bullshit because of course phalanax have shields.
Seriously, bring a void fusion rifle or something, fucking Psions.
Sniper is a low % drop from the Queen's missions. It's got randomised add ons and can be arc/solar/void. There is a also a low % drop spaceship.
I think the OT title shouldn't be updated with assumptions and guessing but that's me. It'll be a moot point if it actually drops today.

Nope. The rewards are only dropped by the boss... you won't receive nothing more on result screen
PS. To be fair the Raid rewards are a combination of boss drops plus three chests.

Are mail engrams safe? I leveled my Cryptarch last night and decided to just not claim my rewards.
Well, even still. I would prefer to get only 1-2 real legendaries from two level ups, rather than 6-7 potential duds.. I really hope the patch hits today to fix this mess. If I end up getting screwed with the demotion of engrams that don't yet exist in the game world, I will have a meltdown and then laugh it off

Got a Scout Rifle with solar damage on it from Atheon last night. It's cool to have but too bad I'm rocking Hard Light and will almost never use it.
Will give it a shot and see how annoyed I get. haha

Did you guys know if you got no ammo after 42-48 seconds your guns auto fill with ammo?
It does not fill heavy but fills primary and special.

Not too hard. Just make sure you have weapons with all three ammo types for the shields. The minions with the shields are the biggest problem. The rest are not a big deal.
I know we bitch about this every day but I'm getting so tired of trying to find a group when the game gives me zero ways to do it.
They need to add matchmaking to everything except the raids (I won't fight about that one). They need to add a way to quickly invite people to your fire team in game, not with the PSN notifications, what a pain in the ass.
I really want to knock out my queen missions and daily / weekly / nightfall but it's just too much fucking hassle to get a fire team going, even here.

I was level 25 when I started them just make sure to bring sniper rifles with elemental damage

The cryptarch has been unusually good to me this past week...I got Icebreaker for the second time and then last night I got Patience and Time (exotic sniper). Come to think of it, Legendary engrams have turned to exotics more often than legendaries for me.

You're not thinking about the future repercussions. If you wait for the patch to decrypt your engrams your rewards from the post master will be generated after the patch. Therefore those potential legendary engrams will be more valuable than pre patch legendaries.
