Still have a love-hate relationship with this game.
Love the shooting and am having fun both in PVP and PVE.
But since RNG hates me, I don't have the legendary drop to look forward too, so the grind is becoming cumbersome.
Meanwhile my whole crew is rolling in purples and yellow primary/secondaries. Of the five I currently play with I'm the highest Vanguard level because I do the most bounties, but I'm the only one without an exotic bounty to my name.
Lucky I'm pretty okay at life in general because I'm a freaking balls-out loser at RNG in Destiny.

So considering the issue of lack of loot in the game, and with the knowledge that ass shards and ass energy will be legendary rarity soon, how many are expecting the issue with getting blues is simply gonna be replaced with ass shards/energy with the percentage remaining as unlikely as it currently is?

Goddamn, this game has been crapping out on me all day. Problems with chat, and now I get dropped during a Strike.
Why doesn't this game have a 'Join player' option that actually works? Every time I try it from the Xbox Dashboard, nothing happens.

Can anyone give me some crucible advice ? It see.s like only a handful of guns are viable in PvP.
I finally settled on shingen c till I get that suros rifle.
1) do weapon upgrades work in pvp?
2) what are some good PvP weapons for different types ?
3) any other misc tips ? I didnt realize the radar shows where enemies are (wtf bungie?) And I think my class, the non sun singer warlock, seems to be pretty crap for PvP .
4) does PvP favor plus health and regen or plus speed ?

Has anyone experienced bugs with the grimoire? For example, I don't have the grimoire card for solar damage unlocked, even though I've used it hundreds of times, fought tons of enemies that use solar damage, etc.

I would think the patch is currently out, and we are waiting for it to go in.

exact same boat. once I got use to it now i barely even use hip fire. it's so satisfying head shotting things one after another with it!
The first one is correct. The patch has not been released. Therefore it is not out. They're holding it captive. Let the patch out, Bungie =(

Is completely situational.
If you've already done the daily and are waiting for the patch to makes strikes a better value.
Spending and hour grinding a respawn point will probably provide better chance at progression than spending an hour getting a faction to any Rank greater than 3.
Grinding out 2500 rep points in increments of 10 or 25 takes a long fucking time.

1) yes
2) all weapon types are good, depends more on the specific weapon and your playstyle/skill level
3) all subclasses are good you just have to find which one works best for you. As for advice, take it slow, stand near cover, and always leave yourself an exit.
4) depends on your playstyle. I used agility max with regen on bladedancer and armor max on gunslinger, no huge differences.
