Wow, I was soloing the Nightfall, after finishing the tank boss I put my controller down to eat. Came back, got booted to orbit because I was idle.

It is! I want to swap them for gear that will actually allow me to progress :(

I'm still madly depressed that I dismantled my forst piece of raid gear on day 1 of its release because I didn't know it was special.

I'll probably end up having everything but leg pieces (the things I dismantled).

I guess I could see that being the case. But the Nightfall return to orbit thing can be a morale killer. At least in the heroic weekly, you have a weak moment and you just have to restart the checkpoint.

All right, got my new Legendary Helmet and Crest of Alpha Lupi equipped. Took a hit to level 26, but now I'm just gonna scour the Moon for Helium Filaments and get at least a few more upgrades in. Hopefully back to 28 by the end of the week.
 
I'm sooooo close to level 29 I can taste it. It's sweet like Spirit Bloom Pie.

I've only been on GAF for a lil over 5 years but I can't remember the last time we had an OT6 for a game that's only been out for 3 weeks. That's 2 OTs every week. Love or hate the game I don't think anyone can argue that a ton of people aren't playing it

Potentially, but I had no problems doing it this morning.

100 easier than last week. I had FINAL BOSS and Thunderlord, brought some ammo synthesis, beat the last boss in a few minutes. Just stay under the right ramp.

Yeah, those solar shields from Cabal etc didn't last long either when I unloaded Arc on them. Only those Psion in the boss room held out longer.
 
Guys what are you doing with your Motes of Light? So far I've identified 4 options:

  • Use them on a Legendary Class Item from the Speaker
  • Use them on a Legendary and allegedly luck-boosting Emblem from the Speaker
  • Use them to gamble on an Exotic Engram from Xur
  • Save them for whatever the hell the Trials of Osiris end up being

I already have a fully-leveled Exotic helmet so I'm not interested in further Exotic armor unless it drops randomly. I'd be wary of spending a hard-to-get currency on an emblem whose worth has yet to be proven.

Is it a waste to get a Class item? Some of them look hot.
 
Was in the skywatch for a Public Event and there was a lonely Lvl 11 dude still trying to make the Loot Cave work. We had 3 or 4 guys trying to figure out a way to communicate to him that he should give up, but to no avail.
 
I got Cult of War and Vanguard to Level 3. Should I do another Fraction or should I just focus on leveling one of those up to get the Legendary pack?

When my regular group raided for the first time, a level 21 Warlock ventured in with us. He glided on ahead and we never saw him again.

Haha I wonder what would have happen if he had followed us into the boss area. I guess he would have entered a darkness zone and not been able to proceed without clearing the boss, but isn't there a chest before the first boss? Could have looted it.

Other than that I really see no other use for them. I am in same situation as you.

What's this about the Trials of Osiris?
