Raid decided to load me up with ass energies, since I already have 20+ of that. I need shards dangit! Well, atleast I can fully upgrade my Hawkmoon and Suros Regime to max whenever they get xp (and I get the other dumb materials, seriously, their use makes zero sense, I need to incorporate flowers in my gun?). No other noteworthy raidloot, did finally get my shader though after not getting it last week. Nightfall yielded me a fresh Hawkmoon and 9 strange coins for the heroic. Not bad for a night's work. Now back to levelling my Hunter...
 
Anyone else getting error cattle? I've been having problems signing on all day where I have onyl ever had problems in the past when everyone else did. Earlier today I got in on the fifth try, but now I can't at all :(. I don't see anyone else having this problem either. Xbox one, wired connection.
 
Literally every person who isn't doing the raid on my friends list is leveling up an alt, and I didn't get any invites :(

If anyone needs a 28 Titan for a raid on PS4, let me know.

Rank 4 gave me some energy and shards, everything afterwords was usually a legendary weapon/armor/bond, sometimes 2. I guess you are guaranteed something useful for every rank up.

True but shotgun range is really far out. I play with both btw. Ar fusion and shotgun are the most powerful regular guns in the game imho. Shottys need a little tweak in range same with AR's to encourage scout rifles.
 
Am I the only one who thinks the PvP isn't all that unbalanced? Or, at the very least that it has some strange unbalanced balance that feels good. Kinda like Halo:CE where the pistol was OP as fuck but it didn't matter. Just reduce the range a bit on ARs and shotguns and we're good.

Well, I have one and I LOVE it.

In PvE. It has saved my life countless times. Did great in the Vault of Glass. Can deal insane damage to bosses even from quite a range.

In PvP though the charge rate is too slow for my tastes.
 
Weekly and Nightfall are really though this week. The bosses itself are not that hard but those cabal with shields man.... Gets really ugly when the yellow ones spawn....

Yes in a one on one fight, you can dodge them pretty well but most of the time you get killed by them when you almost least expect it. Especially in 6 on 6 matches like control and clash.

Someone made a good comparison and I agree. FRs are like the Spartan Lasers of Destiny only with a lot more ammo.

Use arc fusion rifles.

My blue arc FR did 2000 damage on the boss each fire and can wreck most mobs with it.

Meh. They don't mind me. Shotguns are the single dumbest thing in the game. One hit kill is so dumb.
 
Got the boss down to a sliver of health on the Nightfall with a friend, when we wiped. Forty minutes wasted. Had to stop playing after that and chill out.

That sad, RNG gunna RNG, because I turned in a Bounty and got my third Exotic Bounty.

Soon I'll have Thorn, Super Good Advice and Bad Juju, probably the three worst Exotics. Let's hope those buffs are good!

Edit: Just noticed I'm now a member! Huzzah!

I agree. It's kind of like so many OP options are available to any given player at one time that it just works somehow. Reducing AR and shotgun range are exactly the adjustments I'd make. if no one is using a single shotgun in the Crucible after the nerf in favor of fusion rifles then maybe fusion rifles get a look next.

Shotguns are getting a range nerf so you won't have to worry about them much longer. I do agree we shouldn't be able to one hit kill a guy with it from some odd meters away lol.

The best quote I've heard about the PvP is that it's like a fight between superheroes.

They just need to nerf Batman and Superman a bit and it'll be balanced.
 
Did halfway decent with the hawkmoon on PVP, but I went back to my Shingen-E and improved immediately. :P Using handcannons is fun though, and it seems to throw people for a loop.
 
Love using a hand-cannon for PvP. I get too twitchy with full auto guns lol.

Sometimes I enjoy PvP and things click. Other times if feels all over the place. Seriously need more maps and modes Bungie!

That kill took a hell of a lot of skill.

Fusion rifles are unbalanced spartan lasers. Spartan lasers were actually balanced. They had long charge times, blocked a huge portion of your screen, had 4 shots, and had to be picked up as a power weapon.

So he got Head shotted bc he was an easy kill hanging out of cover and thats a good example of fusion rifles being op? Lmao ok. There is a long charge time. In the time i can kill 2 people a shotgun can kill 4. Dont hit someone dead on it doesnt one shot kill. That guy is a perfect example of how to get killed by any range weapon in this game.

there is a shitload of chest scattered around the area too. in caves and such.
