Very. I feel if the game actually told you to level up the Vanguard/Factions asap people wouldn't be running into the 24-26 wall.

Also on top of this, if you want to knock them out quickly, keep going to orbit after queuing up for the Queen's Mission, until you get the one on earth. It's extremely fast, and if you have an arc weapon, it helps a lot. I soloed them at level 20 without too much trouble as long as you take cover and don't go into the main rooms/shoot from doorways.

Bungie dudes, if it helps, this happened to me when I found blueprints for the rare "laughing behind your back" ship. I'd say most of the time in orbit I couldn't see my own ship. Got another blueprint for a different rare and hadn't had any problems with this one. Just the LBYB ship. Couldn't see previews either. XB1.

Why are ascended shards so hard to get. It is literally the only thing keeping me from leveling. This game has issues. They need to take some more ideas from PSU to fix it.

All I do in the game right now is bounties because my gear isn't really good enough for endgame stuff all because I didn't really know I needed to level up Vanguard to get decent gear so I could do strikes that would give me better gear.

Having the solar damage alone as the damage type makes it worth it. You want to be able to juggle as many of the damage types as you can in this game for different situations.

I'm not worried about the elemental damage, I've got a fully upgraded level 20 weapon of each type for both specials and heavy.

I guess I'll upgrade it to the point before it requires energies, not a big fan of scout rifles.

That term is a WoW habit. Sorry! I'll try to use "dismantling" instead of "sharding" from now on!

Running a legendary primary with elemental damage gives you more flexibility for what damage types you run on your secondaries and heavies though. Having that damage type on your primary is also great because you have so much more ammo in that weapon slot compared to the other two.

Generally in PvE you would need to swap to a secondary/heavy to burn through a shield type, but having a primary lets you ignore weapon swapping and rip through certain enemies.

Soooo I was on DestinyTracker looking at random stats when I came across the "total number of Orbs gathered" ranking.

Now those of you that have played with me know I'm all about gathering orbs and usually make a scene about it. Turns out i'm #1 amongst Hunters for total orbs gathered lol If the stats on my page are correct that is. And I'm #4 overall.

Fucking hell. That Thorn void damage bounty is a bitch if you don't have a decent void shotty or fusion. I am grinding through it with a rare void sniper rifle. I am averaging about +11 a match . This is going to take a while.

Not a fan, would much rather ice breaker. The active camo takes a bit too charge up, doesn't last that long, turns off if you fire it stop ads'ing. Also, the lens flare is still there.

Just buy a green void shotty from the gunsmith. Do a strike or two if he doesnt have one. Trust me, you NEED a shotty.
