Yeah, no offense but you guys will get rocked. A 26 has no business on Hard and frankly I don't think you should even have any 28s.

Remember: there are no revives during an encounter and losing one person usually means a wipe, except for certain cheese strats (but you can't cheese the whole thing).

You get loot drops for finishing each major encounter (Oracles, Templar, Gate Keepers, Atheon). You will get loot from the "left side" chest by the Gorgon maze also.

Anybody else need one more for raid? Having a tough time getting a group together and I'm itching to play it for the first time. Made it through some of it when I first hit 26 but wasn't well equipped. Now a level 28 hunter looking for a complete run. Psn is welcomenowhere.

my group just did the flawless raider trophy. Holy crap that was exhilarating and damn scary. We've been trying since friday for 4 hours a night, not doing anything else. The only part we were messing up on was the jumping part.The hardest part for our group was the jumping part killing at least one of us every time, or the bungie servers not syncing properly (random players exploding, not being able to be cleansed, enemies bouncing all over the map). The first time we all made it past the jump, we cleared it. I'm shaking, that was crazy.

I've done the Vanguard Tiger strike 3 times today, and twice I've been rewarded a gun I've never seen before. Just now a rare handcannon called A Little Voice and before a rocket launcher called Happy Boomer. Both are a teal color. I wonder if Bungie added more guns or if these were just extremely rare to get.

I dont think that a lv26 will do any damage to the mobs
4 lvl or lower below mob: 100% damage penalty
3 lvl below mob: ~52% damage penalty
2 lvl below mob: ~42% damage penalty (guesstimate since I didn't have the gear to put me to lvl 22)
1 lvl below mob: ~32% damage penalty
0 lvl below or higher than mob: 0% damage penalty
yep he is useless to you.

I had cleared it 8 times before today with the only glitchy stuff being some weirdness exiting the portals if people went at the same time or ran too fast or whatever.

But today the Atheon fight was glitched to hell. He would teleport two people even though all three of us were huddled together at the back. Another round he would teleport 4 people, another round only 1 person. I'd never seen it that bad before.

Exactly what happened to us. The portals were the worst. Thank god that's over.. took us 3h15. Half of it was with Atheon.. Best reward for killing it. Energy.

Yep. You get drops from surviving the Oracle phase and beating Templar. I'm positive you get a drop from beating the Time Portals phase before Athean. I wouldn't know though since my team is stuck on that phase.

This applies to every mission. You will still get rewards, just skip the cutscenes and the score screen. Same applies to strikes. I dunno why people wait the whole 30 seconds unless they plan to re-que.

If you beat normal and then try hard, you can get loot. Supposedly, the loot in Hard mode is a bit different from the loot in normal raid. I know for a fact the Vex Mythoclast gun or whatever it's called is a Hard Mode exclusive drop.

You can get raid loot twice a week: once in normal and once in hard mode.

I have a rare named gun called Forcing Function. It's likely there are a few named rares that are not purple because of their level, but are actually quite powerful.
