That's a lot of XP compared to the legendary pulse rifle I looked at earlier (9000)

Queen's mission? Keep quitting out until you get the earth mission. Don't know if that changed recently, but that mission is super easy. Don't know how a level 21 will do in those missions, forgot what level the enemies are.
Vanguard is the easiest way, though. You can do assassination missions in patrol to get good rep, but it might take a while.

People say crucible is fast. I don't know.
On my alt i did bounties and story missions on harder dificulties.
I also did story missions and bounties on my alt, and it was faster than the crucible for me. As a lower level I was getting destroyed in the crucible, so the XP wasn't that great.

Then you'll be off to PVP land. I was able to do it relatively quickly because there is no penalty for dying.
I've been using the Shadow Price for a while now (didn't even upgrade it all the way) and loving it. Great assault rifle and doesn't take up an exotic slot like the Ice Breaker.

the monte calro is working on the 1st dmg upgrade (damn that is allot of exp) This hard light is in the tree past that and is gaining on 2 at once.
can you only find primary weapons? Cause I got some exotic secondaries.
They are rather similar. But imo; Devil for PvE and Lord for PvP.

Keep grinding rep, that is the most efficient way to get legendaries. I was in the same boat. However, through just focusing on rep, I have gone from 20 to almost 24 through the random drops and am nearly closing in on Rank 2. Lvl 24 is the peak before you need legendaries to progress. Overall, I think the progression path works well and if you follow the intended method of progression you will not get stuck at a Light level for an extended period of time (at least until you need Raid gear).
I was lucky enough to have 1 blue engram turn into a Legendary Primary Scout Rifle, but even without that, I would get there soon enough.

The results don't look any different for stuff that is gaining "two at once". Here's how I think it works: Whenever the first slot in any upgrade column is completed, the next column is started and the XP is mirrored to any additional slots under the previous column.
Based upon this data, it looks like one could say that exotic weapons require 30,000 XP per upgrade circle and legendaries require 9000.
Looks like 7500 XP for legendary secondaries.
Without question it's doing the daily bounties and whatever story quests as needed. My total playtime to get a character to 20 was about 6 or 7 hours and that was with time wasted chatting with friends. The key, though, is to do it now while there are Queens missions to do. Up to 5000 xp per mission is huge.

Well the raid is pretty neat. We got to the last boss. Understand the decision to remove matchmaking for this specific feature set.. not so much the others.
Perhaps allow 2 fireteams of 3 to be matchmade for the raid would have been nice. Now you'd essentially have a much more accessible raid and 2 fireteam leaders holding the checkpoint reload. Woulda, coulda, shoulda
I also just can't see the raid content being that mainstream accessible given the difficulty and abstract nature of the gameplay.

I would recommend "The devil You Know" 12 shots and it hits like a freight train. Fires crazy fast.
Why report them? They were probably working on a bounty. Rumble is one of the best ways to get the Invective bounty. It's the only way I got it. Someone like me, with a consistently negative k:d in PvP will never be good enough to get that k:d spread in PvP. So my clan asked me to sit in a corner on a map. They then ran over to let me kill them. If someone else came close, they'd try to kill him, or asked me to back out and rejoin. A shameful strategy, yes, but I got my Invective and we went back to playing normal control and skirmish. It was only for the bounty, nothing else.
I can't imagine any team enjoying cooperating in Rumble on a regular basis. Even the biggest cheeseballs would prefer a competitive shootout with clanmates. Cooperating in Rumble sounds like bounty chasing, and I have no problem with that. Tying accomplishments to competitive multiplayer is one of the best ways to encourage bad behavior. The day game devs learn this will be the day online multiplayer returns to its pure Doom/Quake roots. PEACE.

Yep, when you think of it as grinding rep it sucks. I enjoyed this process more by mixing bounties, patrols and public events together. The public events help with marks and you get at least one ass mat plus all 3 build rep too (I think public events do at least) so you can be doing a variety of things at once. Maybe you'll even get a random drop with something nice while you are doing it.
October 6th
It ends the 6th, I should really make sure everyone knows the implications of this.
If you have any interest in doing so for endgame, now until Monday is the right time to get your alts to 20 and run a few queen's gauntlet bounties on them for an easy path to 24-26.
I guess i can get a few done this weekend.
