I was in a game with a lvl 32 and a lvl 35 the other day. I thought nothing of it till a friend said they were probably devs cos it's not possible to get that high. Damn I wish I inspected them
How could you have failed us like that? How could you have failed yourself like that? Do better.
I do wonder what things will be like post level cap increase. Will it go back to experience based or remain gear based? Will there more skills on the current subclasses or just an additional subclass? The world must know

You got to be level 29, bud. All 6 guys have to be able to handle themselves, but at level 28 you're going to be prone to getting one shotted by enemies.

i don't think that's just you. i was talking with number2 the other night and he has the same issue with running.

I'll try that, I think it was the worst 2 weekends ago after like playing all saturday, with 4 hours at the loot cave, constantly holding those triggers can be tiring haha
People in Reddit comments tested them and didn't notice any major differences with or without them.
It's mad tiring in VoG. I might turn off rumble for Raids.

Even though everybody hates RNG I feel like there is something in the background controlling what drops for you at various levels.
I still haven't had a legendary armor drop but I got all the blues I needed right up until I hit vaguard 2 and was able to buy my first armor. About that same time I also had 13 strange coins and got an exotic chest piece. That was just before queen's wrath which gave me the helm I was missing and finally I was geared up.
Now I am at that next lull trying to get from 27 to 28 but I have grown more comfortable with the grind knowing it will come.

I got hosed with Ass Energy on the Nightfall last night, so I was determined to score some kind of weapon after that happened. Thankfully the Vanguard delivered a Legendary Scout Rifle for rank 4.

Bungie, if you're going to keep ADS in, please, please add weapons upgrades that add accuracy when firing from the hip. I know some do but that's not every weapon.
I've never encountered this problem before but it's beginning to hurt my hands playing with ADS.

I don't know how many spawn in the last round, there very well could be 9 that show up, but there are only 7 spawn sites. They spawn in the same order, on the same spawn sites each attempt.
Its the game. Click stick is perfect in every game besides this one.
I'd go for the exotic engram.

If I level up thru pvp, do I gain access to the planets and such or do I have to do campaign to unlock those? I just want my alt to use for level 28 strikes/nightfall and perhaps the raid when I stop pussyfooting around.Intense. I've killed 5929.
I think the Main story missions (the ones with laurel wreaths) unlock the planets. However, if you've overleveled for them you can fly through them in minutes (if you want to) so it's not really "wasted time" if you do PvP beforehand.Thanks for that Hawkian. I just remembered that I recorded a video clip during that game and went to view it for evidence. What I saw them on screen I was proper pleased but then I realised...
Both their names had numbers after them for some reason, 31 (memory thought 32 for some reason) and 35. They were actually level 27.

Oh man I was just about to ask about this. Was about to open a new Dualshock. Glad it wasn't just me.
Its also weird that it isn't patched yet.
Let me ask you this.
What if you have a gun that has all the abilities unlocked (i.e. you've received enough XP to unlock them to be able to purchase them w/ mats/glimmer/ass) but you haven't yet purchased them? Will it still dump XP into that weapon even though everything is unlocked since you haven't bought all the upgrades yet?

Wow had no idea. Now my question is, does xp split between just the guns? Or is it between guns & armor? I have a bad addiction of equipping random blues and greens before turning in bounties to lvl up armor for extra armor materials

So these Queen's Wrath missions - is it even worth doing them over and over again in hopes of a sniper rifle? I started out by getting 4 chest armors, and then 5 helmets. A legendary sniper rifle would be neat, but it seems like the chances of getting one are pretty shitty.

It still unlocks the rest even if you have not purchased the rest of the upgrades. I have a purple item upgraded but I have to save up mats to buy the upgrade.

This is anecdotal, but after 10 missions, I got two sniper rifles. If you don't mind doing this, a good trick is to go to orbit if you don't get the Earth mission. The Earth mission takes 5 minutes to do and requires *very* little work. Just bring an arc weapon, and you'll knock it out quickly.

Yeah they updated the app/website stuff a little before the patch went live. I assume that's where the changes came in, it looks nice.
Bungie, why won't you let me accurately fire from the hip like in Halo?
The games story and other woes aside, this is my biggest letdown since we got the first Destiny gameplay.
They teased accurate hip firing too, in the E3 demo they fired from the hip a lot. I remember that gameplay where they had someone firing a pulse rifle from the hip and everyone was like, THE BR IS BACK! Their entire reticle seems like a tease for it.
But in practice, its even better to ADS in close range. The headshot bonuses while hip firing are super rare.

He said if you equip 2 completely upgraded weapons (i.e. you've earned enough XP to unlock all possible upgrades AND you've purchased the upgrades that you've unlocked), all the XP from turning in bounties will go to the one weapon not completely upgraded.
My question is; if I have 2 weapons that have all upgrades available to me (i.e. "unlocked") but I haven't actually selected the upgrades (i.e. haven't used my mats/glimmer/ass to select the upgrades), will XP still get dumped into them or do you have to have a weapon equipped where you've actually selected the final upgrade?
Does that make sense?
