My "64GB" vita card arrived today.

I got sent an 8GB card :I
So now I have to return it and wait for them to send me a replacement.. sigh.

I was going to link you to a related thread, then I saw you already posted there lol. Read the last few pages for a list of all usable packages (by KojiKnight iirc).
I'd recommend you to check the Ys Celceta demo. Disgaea 4 and Magical Beat too, but you can get demos for those on the regular store.

Thank you! Yeah, I've seen that list but I wanted to have some suggestions anyway. I'll check Ys out since it looks interesting. As for Magical Beat, no demo here since I'm in the EU, the game's not out here at all :(

I've used Amazon for the first time this month and used their one day delivery service since it's free for 30 days and... Had to send back a PS3 super slim as well as a HDD tray bought seperatly, one barely read blurays and the latter was broken and missing screws :/.
Thankfully, replacement arrived shortly.

Ah, I've been using Amazon for over 2 years now so I was surprised to see my order got messed up. First time this has happened. Hope my replacement arrives soon as well...

Topic related question: Last week DT2 was released in Japan. Any chances to get Dungeon Travelers 2 to west? And how different this is from 2010 PSP game (never played it tho).

As for localization, well, I don't have much hope seeing what kind of title it is. Heavy fanservice and unpopular. Thinking about importing, but then I heard the story and characters interactions are pretty great, and I don't want to miss that.

Maybe I need to start play Spelunky. I tried it for the first area and thought not my game. Time to try again, you fellow GAFers have said so good things about it.

I was wondering whether it could get an English localization via an Asian release similar to Moero Chronicles which also has heavy fanservice and is pretty niche.
 
So this weekend, I'll be picking up a PS4 and finally switching over from PS3. I already have my saves uploaded and all that. The only thing I'm unsure about is whether there's anything else I need to do.

Do I just have to log in to PSN with the Playstation 4, or can I not have more than one machine tied to my PSN account?

yeah just log in on the PS4. You can only have one "primary" PS4, but no it doesn't matter that you already have PS3s or Vitas already active, you can even use all 3 at the same time.

You can have varying amounts of playstation devices tied to your account... I've never done PS4 setup, but you should be able to just log in.

Uploading your saves will be sort of fruitless I think, as PS4 isn't backwards compatible (and probably doesn't share the same "cloud" space as your PS3 anyway, much like the Vita has it's own).

As far as setup, I think you need to make the PS4 your "primary" platform, but I'm assuming it either does this for you upon signing in or prompts you asking if you want it to...

Anyone else have more detailed steps for someone who's setting up a new PS4?

All you have to do is log in with your PSN account. You can have two PS4s, two PS3s, and two Vitas/PSPs tied to your account at the same time. If you're getting rid of your PS3 I would suggest deactivating it (the option is under account management) before doing so.

I didn't go overboard with the save uploading, just the stuff that has a next-gen version. For example, my Diablo III Ultimate Evil Edition characters and things of that sort.

Does anyone happen to know if the PS4 versions of the Walking Dead games will allow you to import last-gen saves?

I might hang onto the PS3 for a bit, I'm not sure yet. But I'll keep it in mind. Thanks.
 
I upload ALL my vita and PS3 saves (actually saved me when transfering ps3 to ps3 wouldn't work and doing a backup/restore while taking hours did nothing but move the profiles..)

I nearly maxed out my PS3 upload but only because of Hatsune Miku Community Songs... they take up a LOT of space for just the custom mapping (not including mp3 file)
 
How long is Tales of Heart R? HLTB says it is about 50h, is that true?

Lol, I was looking at Theatrhythm Curtain Call for my 3DS and when I go to the pictures, BAM! Lightning.
 
So, I just got my new Vita and nothing will download off PSN. It'll download a couple MBs and then stop. I can pause and unpause and it will do exactly the same thing. I never remember having this problem with my OG Vita. Anyone else experience this and can offer insight?

Turn off your Vita and then turn it back on. That solved it for me.

Wished Harada released a Tekken TT2 Vita Version(of Tekken Revolution Vita version). But right now he is busy with a lot of games :/. Also a T7 port for the Vita will never happen :( (because UE4 is not compatible with the Vita/supported for the Vita :/).

So basically, we've refactored the threads the combine the downloads/service focused threads since based on the vendor since they share the same backbone networks, and (especially in the case of PlayStation) sometimes feature crossplay.

Basically:
-Steam covers most of PC/Mac/Linux
-iOS covers iPad/iPhone/iPod
-Nintendo downloads covers 3DS/Wii U
-If they ever actually put it up, Xbox Downloads will cover 360 and Xbox One
-And as such, we'd like to make these threads cover Vita *and* PS3/PS4

Ideally what we'd like from you is to keep the same format, but add in PS3 and PS4 games to the OP as well. Ideally note things that are crossplay or on multiple PlayStation platforms as well, which tends to be a rather large number of games these days.

This should also help out in any dry spell months for any given platform.

It would be great if you could update the OP of this thread itself, and then I'll update the title to reflect the new more expansive topic domain.

Apparently non-Japanese accounts work on the Vita TV after the 3.30 update but the store doesn't (which makes sense I guess). Anyone here got a Vita TV and tried it out?
