A question to more seasoned nightfall guardians out there...
Are the benefits of the Nightfall strike gone after your first go through like the Weekly? As in - now that i've gone through it once this week am I only going to see Shards, Coins, Motes, Materials when I beat it? Or do you always have the chance to pop gear when you clear it?

Dammit. We went this way yesterday but didn't take time exploring the way down. Must have missed it. It takes a while to drop all the way down to the gorgon chest from there.
The funny thing is, I almost inadvertently discovered that chest while going through the passage last week, but my team told me wrong way.

I totally want to go check it out. I wonder if you even have to beat the Templar for that chest to spawn?
Make sure you do the Nightfall first!
Nightfall rewards are once a week per character for your first clear. You get just one roll. If you repeat the Nightfall again that week, it's to help others, try out new loadouts, or challenge yourself to beat the boss without cheesing (I'm going to make it a priority to do this every week).

Dropped down that small passageway yesterday. It's actually pretty long. I know the Templar gives you a reward for beating him, but I wonder if you can skip that section altogether by just dropping down the passage in the spirit bloom chest room?

Damn, I had no idea about the Nightfall buff to experience & rep gains. I just hit level 27 last night, I need to start running this thing.
just wish I had better weapons that aren't as effective against any mob higher than 24.
