My buddy showed me last night that you can crouch hide behind waist high cover and when you hit the aim button you will peek out from cover and can shoot then hide again just like Killzone2 or 3

How in the FUCK i only found this out 2 1/2 weeks into playing the game and there was absolutely nothing in the game proper to explain this mechanic is beyond me.

That's as basic as "your grenades are primed on a timer" and "Supers are L1 + R1 at the same time"

Hidden gameplay mechanics are not cute and fun easter eggs. It's fucking hobbling your gameplay until you randomly stumble upon it or read it on a fuckin forum somewhere. I seriously just don't understand that decision at all.

Invective better be worth it. After 5 Strikes without dying (fuck people who go AFK, seriously), a 25-1 Crucible Spread, and a Weekly Heroic I had to solo because nobody was on (no coins either, I'd already completed it on Tuesday)....now I need to buy 50 goddamn Special Ammos.

It's taken me hours to get this thing! I've been killed by Invective enough times to think this might be worth it though.

Are exotic boots even in this game?

According to what I've seen (on the wiki's), there are no exotic boots.

As to the question, I'd really like him to stock a nice weapon. Patience and Time would be my preference. I'd take Gjallarhorn too since I skipped it, but despite that I hope he doesn't bring repeats for a while.

Do we know if the game already knows what kind of gear you already have? Like if you are doing the best in crucible does it just assume you must have some of the best gear already so then you get zilch?
