Xur has been very good to Titans, not so much to Warlocks.

It just means 10 thousand points from kills in the crucible.
Because the bonus lets you have like 5 solar grenades active at once. That's way more valuable than 30 defense.

So Bungie is going to realise how this is complete bullcrap and pull the Sunbreaker from Xur for another Warlock Exotic within the hour, right?
Because this is really fucking all Warlocks over twice considering Xur is hugely important for endgame loot and he has done fuck-all for Warlocks ( Worst Helmet in the game with the Apotheosis Veil and then repeating the same fucking gear piece thrice, while Hunters and Titans consistently got their very best gear that massively improves their respective supers and overall play. ).

So saint-14, worth it purely for pvp? I have crest of alpha lupi but it doesn't do much in pvp. The blinding bubble seems fun but I have not yet leveled up the defender subclass so I'm not sure how often it would be useful. Not sure if i want to gamble on the engram either. Decisions, decisions.
third's time the charm? i'm permanently stuck at 27 because i'm waiting for an exotic armor, bought the exotic engram and turned into a wrong class item

God damnit. I got the exotic bounties yesterday and thought the reward was random. I choose the hand cannon bounty.
I would have wanted the shotgun... I don't use hand cannons.

Looks like I have two of the 3 items this weekend. That's not a big deal for me. I've got to upgrade the lot I have already, and that's no quick task. Plus, I'm sure I'll be getting some more exotic bounties soon.
I'm two motes short of 25, so I'm going to grind a little tomorrow and try the engram first. I'd prefer to get Innermost Light, so I can also grab Saint-14 and have two helms waiting for my titan. I don't mind stockpiling coins for another week. PEACE.

Bought an exotic helm engram just for fun since I have extra motes, got the warlock helm that reduces resurrection times. I'm leveling up a warlock for the main purpose of getting extra coins and doing another raid each week, is that the best exotic armor to use for stuff like that, since I'd probably be running the self-res loadout?
Edit: To clarify, I know it doesn't affect the timer of the self-res super, I just mean since the other exotics all seem to benefit things that don't seem as useful in a raid/strike setting.

Are you like me and use pulse rifles as your main weapons in PvE?
If yes, then buy it, it's the best pulse rifle in the game.
If no, don't buy it, if you're accustomed to the fire rate of auto rifles then you will probably hate the Red Death.

Second one. The raid gear + exotic will yield you more light in the long run. Don't waste shards on the ugly queen helmet.

Red death grants health with each kill which can be a lot of fun for people who like to dive head first into action. I only had 30 coins so couldn't get an armor piece as well, but I'm a Warlock and every Warlock owns Sunbreakers.
Sunbreakers are awesome and I think I prefer it over Heart of Praxic Fire simply because you use grenades a lot more than supers, but Sunbreakers for a third time in four weeks? Absolutely nothing to encourage people to sick with Voidwalker. The bat majority of Warlocks use Sunsinger, no diversity.

I've used the saint-14 helm for a while and I would say no. You should be killing people as soon as they enter your shield so blinding them has little effect. When blinded, players seem to spam shoot/melee any way.
In pve it's pretty great as you no longer have to consider using the overshield upgrade. The blind effect on monsters makes them stop attacking and they hold their face, allowing you to kill them easily without you getting hurt.
Gotta love these Bungies automated systems that they clearly don't bother to keep eye on.

Going to raid, normal or hard, without is just silly because you are gimping your own performance in shit situations where you may get OHKd etc. Voidwalker just doesn't offer such insane imba utility like self-resurrection and small damage done spike from nova lance just isn't nearly as good in raid environment.
