I know that. I didn't give it any importance. Although it is a shared sentiment in the community that carrying a hunter is detrimental to raid completion, so Bungie should give that a look and check how real that detriment is.

Da fuq?

A hunter was immensely helpful taking out those damn Harpies in the last part of the raid, not seeing how they would slow anyone down or be detrimental, do you know the reasoning?

So saint-14, worth it purely for pvp? I have crest of alpha lupi but it doesn't do much in pvp. The blinding bubble seems fun but I have not yet leveled up the defender subclass so I'm not sure how often it would be useful. Not sure if i want to gamble on the engram either. Decisions, decisions.

Saint-14 is a PVE item IMO. Friend was using it to crowd control Mintaurs in the raid. It was great.

Starting to get pissed off with people running through large groups of enemy just to get to the bosses on a Strike.

gotta get that house banner man!! 200 glimglams all mine!!

just leave em dead when you walk past to get the kill shot on the boss lol

I'm pissed off at you lagging behind, kill garbage on your own time dude. I just want these marks, a post mission roll and that's it. I will run all the way up to the boss and suicide so you spawn there if you're lagging too far behind as well.

Never, never, NEVER use weapons in PvP.

Armor all day, every day! You are too squishy without it.

Armor makes the bubble your dome of pain. Now with the Saint helm, it's my dome of "what the hell! Titans are sooo OP!"

Saint turns the bubble into an offensive tool.

Thanks!

So is the Weapons buff completely negated in PVP or are its effects merely negligible?

According to the guys, survivability. I couldn't answer him anything as I have not been in the VoG yet.

Having completed most strikes 3 or 4 times I tend to bypass the groups that I don't have to kill. Doesn't really bother me if people want to hang back TBH. Each to their own.

Oh he is calling me a dick because I ran from the tank area after I got gold for the tank event?

He said next time stay close so everyone gets credit

Is this a thing?

Nah, sounds like the guy's just being a dick.

I completely lost interest in the game.. I'm just playing it now coz I have some time to spare and I don't have other games to play

I've been lucky to get 2 exotics as primary weapons early in the game, then got the Sunbreakers also shortly after hitting level 20. Then did a couple of Queens and sorted myself with all purples for the rest of the slots. And that's without doing any "after game" content like raids, weekly or daily strikes.

So now I just go around and do stuff to get Ascendant shards. My game only revolves around getting ascendant shards so I can level up my character. It's kinda stupid and not fun especially with the rate of getting these stupid things.

It's really fun to play with friends, but it'll get old very quickly as the rewards are not really that exciting.

I haven't done VoG yet, so I might be wrong, but I don't see why do I need new items from the Vault!? I only needs the stupid shards now

I really hope that I'm wrong coz I enjoy the gmeplay

Try the raid before you give up.

Aside from a few frustrating glitches, the raid is one of the best co-op experiences I've ever had.

It's such a shame there's a lock out on it or loot.

There should be a rep system for the raid, and a vender that sells gear along side the random drops. Make it a long grind if you have to, but make it so we can run the raid multiple times a week and feel like we're making progress.

For now I'll make a second Titan so I can run it twice, and once my Hunter's geared I'll make that three. I do wish the system was more in one with modern mmorpg systems though.

So this is serious you can run away from a public event and cause someone else not to get credit for it?

this is bad design, dude called me a dick for running away from the tank but did not even know this was going on

you mean people can troll you buy running away?

3 people IS impossible I can flat out tell you that now, 4 people might have a really tough time just getting through the first part of the Raid.

The Templar fight?

IF we can get through that, we're at the mercy of RNGesus I know, but we'd still pick up some loot, so it might be worth it.

As I said all we can do is try. Beats spamming Strikes.

I can't really get in a decent group to do it. I tried the forums and the lfg website with no luck to be honest.

And I don't think basing an online game on doing a raid is anywhere close to being acceptable. Other MMO's you can play them without even doing a single raid and still enjoy the game

Hey Myo. I feel bad about letting you down yesterday. Did you finish the nightfall? I can help today.

Also you're welcome to join whatever raid group I manage to set up. As is everyone, provided you're nice!

Hahahaha.

I often feel like doing the same thing, but I know I'd feel like a dick and I wouldn't want someone doing it to me.

Yup can't wait till I get that upgrade, then I'll be placing bubble traps in choke points even in skirmish mode. *maniacal laugh*

I bought the exotic engram and got the fucking helmet from the first week, with the light shining out. Fucking ugly. And a helmet engram and helmets suck. Give me leg/gauntlet
engrams Bungie. I am bored to tears of the randomness of this game, not working out for me. Im such a masochist to want to continue playing.

Once I've done the raid I'll be satisfied I reckon.

Surely Xur doesn't have Sunbreakers for the third time in four weeks? Right? Right?

In my opinion Bungie needs to step in and change it. Shit is infuriating.

FFXIV does weekly lockout system with eventual unlocking when the new raid comes out.

GW2 does a token-vendor system for their harder dungeons with diminishing returns that resets daily.

I can't remember what SWTOR does; tokens I think?

Templar fight is doable, I'm talking about the entrance. Lol.

For anyone using destinypublicevents.com while out touring events on Earth, I'm finding the Forgotten Shore one consistently 5 minutes and some seconds later than advertised. There are often a few guys hanging around who head off on their sparrows after 3 or 4 minutes past the given time, it's worth hanging on until the very last minute before you dash off to the next.

That Loot Cave withdrawal setting in?

Saw two guys doing Loot Cave 2.0 last night, instead of being all the way over the other side of the area, they were up in the scaffolding/crane/whatever it is hanging above. It's odd when you dash through there and nothing has spawned and there's nobody loot caving, or at least it appears that way, game seemed broken until I realised I could hear the pop...pop...pop of Scout Rifles above.

I don't understand why you guys wouldn't want to kill everything, more chance of a Legendary drop or something.

I'm pissed off at you lagging behind, kill garbage on your own time dude. I just want these marks, a post mission roll and that's it. I will run all the way up to the boss and suicide so you spawn there if you're lagging too far behind as well.

Lol.

I think its the Kill 3 Fallen Walkers bounty that is the case here, not the Public event reward. The person who gets the kill, gets the bounty. But if all the players are close to each other when it dies, then everybody gets the kill.

And yes, its a terrible design choice.
