Can't remember if they spawn quicker, but they did seem harder to take down. We were definitely just about keeping up with them when our golden gun hadn't been charged the first time. You obviously don't need hunters to get through it, but they can be very useful. Especially if the 3 on the outside are having a hard time.

First pvp game if the day and I have a good connection! K/D 2.7. We won. Someone on the opposing team scored a Hawkmoon, but I don't mind because I had The Last Word.

Waiting for my connection to get terrible as it always does. :(

Nope, since the latest patch I've gone from level 11 to 18 due to so many blue engram drops but the rewards have still been complete shit being blue engrams or the odd Motes/Coins.
 
Leveled up the Cryptarch again, only for receive more Blues.

I would have been annoyed had he not also given me a sweet shader.
 
I've got the Patience And Time sniper rifle from the Nightfall Strike. Is it worth upgrading it or should I rather hope to get the Ice Breaker?
PAT upgrades include radar and camouflage while aiming, but thanks to the Bladedancer skill, my Hunter becomes invisible when crouching anyway. For a few seconds, at least.
The Ice Breaker on the other hand regenerates ammo and makes victims combust, which sounds pretty amazing.

Just use it and upgrade it, aside from maybe putting in the ascendant energies. See how you like it and then decide. Might be a loooooong time before the game decides to give you an Icebreaker.

Give P&T to your non Hunter alt. Hold out for Ice Breaker for your main.

P&T is pretty situational, and as you've noted a bit redundant for Hunters. Ice Breaker is the better choice in PvE basically 100% of the time

edit: Indeed, give it to a non-hunter alt I say. they'll get much more use from it

Anyone know if the exotic bounties will disappear along with the Queens limited event when it ends this week? I assume the Queens emissary will disappear also?

Queen's event sucks for me too, the missions are like level 24 so it's impossible for me to do them. Everyone is all like "oh yeah easiest way to level up just do a Queen's mission and you'll get all Legendaries" but it's really not helpful.

They may have fixed the engram decoding but they sure haven't fixed the loot drops, you can still get jack shit from a hard strike mission and then 2 items from a short 12 minute crucible match.

Keep initiating the Queens mission until you get the one on Earth, and ask someone higher leveled on your friends list to help you out for literally 5 minutes.

Exotic bounties? You mean weapon ones? If so they were here long before Queen event so yeah, those will stick around.

The whole thing is so badly implemented. They give you these kill missions which are the same four or five over and over (one of which is extremely short so there's no reason to do any others), they give you the same rewards over and over and you can't even break them down into anything useful anymore.

It's a perfect example of how the game feels stitched together at the last minute after having been ripped apart.

P&T is pretty good at getting two shots off in PVP and having your radar up is nice. But as my first exotic it was pretty underwhelming. It's my best sniper, and I still haven't leveled up the active camo upgrade. It's a really slow upgrade process but I haven't been focusing on it.
 
Why does it say my kids cant play destiny on vs because of no ps+ but yet I have it on the main account so there covered, they was playing it fine, but today it's gone to shit :(

The Queen's Missions are for when you're level 23-24 and don't yet have legendary helmet/chest. They're only kinda useful for a very short time. It's pretty dumb. The weapons she sells are only rare too compared to the legendaries from every other vendor. I do a bounty every once in a while for the XP to upgrade a weapon, but that's about it.
 
I hope queens missions get replaced with some other kind of special timed thing... Whatever it might be... Would be cool to keep having different variations...
 
I'm really sorry because this has probably been asked a hundred times, but if I have already beat the Raid this week, if I play it again, do I still have the possibility of obtaining Raid gear? Are chests the only thing negated when you play it a second time on the same difficulty in the same week?

It'll be interesting to see what kind of special events are coming after Iron Banner up until the expansion. Hope its better than Queens Wrath, which was a disappointment.
 
How soloable is the a Xyor strike for the Thorn bounty?

I'll probably be there sometime tonight if anyone wants to help or if someone here needs it done as well. Level 27-28 Defender Titan.

I'm also working on Juju and saving both their PvP requirements for the same time. Hopefully I can finish Juju at least before Xur leaves today. 18 strikes down so far.

The more you play the raid, the more your chances increase for better, cooler gear.
