If I remember correctly, on the outside we had a gunslinger, sunsinger, and me playing defender titan. Our portal team was a voidwalker, another defender titan (I think he took shield) and I don't remember the other. One of us on outside would stand on the right pillar, one on left pillar and another on the 2nd left pillar (this helps since it doesn't really matter which side they get ported to). Inside, the voidwalker would help with the praetorian if his super was up, and I think the other also shot some rockets or whatever. The relic carrier would run out while they were killing the last oracle. I'd run to the middle and throw my titan bubble on the back half. Everyone but one person would come to the middle and dps the boss. The sunsinger stayed out and killed supplicants. That was pretty much it, I think we did it in 5 portal runs. Sunsinger is good for outside, but having a voidwalker inside really, really helped.

Is there any consistent way to get Relic Iron without farming? I don't want to waste my time scouring a map for these items, but to fully upgrade my Legendary chest piece it takes something like 48 pieces of Relic Iron, and I have something like five.

No, the best way to get materials is to do a chest farm route. It really doesn't take that long to get that many.
The very first area on Mars patrol, literally just south if where you spawn, you can run in circles around the vex and cabal and the chests spawn in seconds.
Or look up infinite chests.

Helped a level 25 friend do the hardest weekly last night to get 9 Strange Coins so he could get the helm from Xur. In addition to beating it and getting coins I received 3 blue engrams in which 2 turned to Legendaries! Helm that I broke down and a Fusion Rifle 77 Wizard.

Also, I picked up "The Swarm" from the Vanguard Quartermaster since I needed a Void-damage Heavy Machine Gun .. and wow it is amazing. It has 2 stability upgrades including Perfect Balance so it can max out the Stability bar and the reticule does not move at all.
I'll probably use a Range & Stability combo to get the best of both worlds. Oh, and it has Field Choke, not sure how useful that is on a MG but the stats of The Swarm seems godly.
Anyone else have one?

got one yesterday and i wish i had worked on marks sooner. i needed heavy void damage so went with it. it has a small magazine but it completely fucks up whatever it hits.
the 2nd legendary engram that became a legendary/exotic for me. It's great, and the juggling I can do with Plan C/a rare Arc fusion/Thunderlord/The Swarm in this week's nightfall pretty much makes me a juggernaught

Yeah I am collecting/hunting for Legendary/Exotic special and heavy weapons of all damage types so that I can take advantage of all the burn modifiers. Solar is my weak link now, I need a Solar Sniper .. hmmm, I wonder which one I need to hope to find, haha.

Just finished the raid with my Titan. Do titans just have better luck? Got the raid chest piece, the found verdict, the vision of confluence AND the ship. My hunter got a freaking chest piece all of the times I have done it :\.
I went to sleep and judging by figapaura's posts, so did she so I guess he and Bunta did since he beat it too. I'm still going to give this Athean fight another go. I need something good after getting Ass Shards and Energy in all the phases so far.
