Yup psn just exploded.

No destiny, no friends, not even the app icons on the home screen.

Also got a warning about user generated content not being available on my account?
 
This game and it's RNG.

I got an exotic bounty couple of hours ago. They were all for weapons I already had, and I wasn't in the mood to grind for a same weapon, so I dismiss the bounty.

I literally go out and do one bounty, and get another exotic bounty. AND ONE OF THEM IS POCKET INFINITY. OH BABY.
 
After consistently going negative in pvp with my main titan, I decide to take my alt bladedancer with an invective out for a spin in control.

I have gone positive every game, even after accidentally blinking myself off of cliffs about 3 times a match.

I feel dirty.
 
PSN has been clown status all week for me. I'm just now getting messages and invites sent to me on Thursday. Sorry if I appeared to be ignoring anyone.
 
Perfect timing. Thanks, PSN. If possible, looking for nightfall group. Not going to try soloing it. My only arc weapon is a machine gun. 27 Warlock.

Hokay, I hate to say it but I think The Last Word is bugged. Once you get the upgrade for extra hip fire precision damage (called The Last Word of course) it seems to 'shrink' the targeting area for head shots by a huge amount. It's not longer possible to hip fire headshot dregs at all for example.

The extra damage works fine, but there's definitely something wonky with hip fire after you upgrade the gun.
 
Any idea why sometimes when coming out from a Tiger Strike I end up with 4 engrams? I thought it was a max two? Has happened about 4 times so far tonight, all crap blue but still, handy for levelling up Rahool the Joker
 
So..uh...if the game were to be deleted, would everything be there when I re-download the game?

This is the third time my PS4 has automatically highlighted 'Delete' when hitting 'Options' on the dashboard. First was the Destiny Alpha, the second P.T., and now this.

Btw, has anyone received a cryptarch engram for completing the Daily Heroics? The past few have just been rewarding Ascendant Materials. Not really an issue otherwise and maybe I misread the rewards. Can't check myself since the game download is sitting at a whopping 11%.

Your progress is saved on Destiny servers.

The engram is awarded during the game, like right after you finish the mission. Not in the post game rewards screen.
 
My brother got the PS-exclusive helmet. Looks pretty cool, but it sucks that it's only a Rare item and it's worse than the helmet he already has equipped.
 
Stuck at boss fight of Nightfall strike. I have boss down to half health, but I can't deal with adds fast enough to get at boss. Need assist. Be level 27, equip arc weapons and join me for fabulous unknown rewards. PSN: JohnOfMars.

Edit: Just blew myself up with a rocket. fml.
 
Finally up to 28. Had to use my Vanguard marks to buy 3 pieces of armor to break down for the ass shards to get there. Fully upgraded my exotic chest piece, working on my raid boots now. I need 14 more ass shards to finish those off.
 
Anyone able to help me do the Xyor mission to finally finish this thorn bounty? I'm just about to the end battle now.

Hey guys, all of my friends are out or not playing tonight, and I wanted to get the Weekly done for some Strange Coins... I managed to solo to the boss but I just get overwhelmed with the adds during the fight (got him down to 2/3 before shit went bad) so I was wondering if anyone wanted to join me at the boss for the Weekly Heroic!

Oh yeah, I don't have a mic, but that shouldn't be an issue.
 
That transmogrification thing NEEDS to be done. Eventually everyone's gonna look so bland. There's already armour parts I wish I could wear instead but can't.

Funny how end game is all about progressing randomly ._.

There's only so far the legendaries from the factions is going to take you. When the expansions come...this gulf is going to grow farther.

Besides, it's more fun to get loot than to grind a faction. Fact.

I'd rather they up the drop rate personalIy as I'd rather be playing and get rewarded that way as opposed to buying the damn things.

I have over 35 hours in and I think I've seen 4 total purple engrams, 2 of which turned to energy, and the other 2 were for a Titan and a Warlock. I'm a Hunter. So in 35 hours+ I have no Legendaries I can use.

I've been saying that for the last while too, especially with the fact that the PS-exclusive armour looks awesome AND I never received any parts for it until I'd gotten all Legendary armour, making it useless. All the higher-level variants of the armour for each class is just too "samey", so being able to pick and choose the look is going to become a necessity.

That's not what endgame is about for me, at all. You can get to 29 without relying on RNG.

Like, the rep..? I have had vanguard and crucible at 2+ for weeks, i'm not thinking about grinding factions at all...

What's fun is subjective and I always do pretty terribly in games that require you to use random drops to progress. this can be frustrating to me. i like being able to get exactly what I want and have some control over it.
 
so i just got my bad ju ju and i bought the red death. which one do you guys think i should focus on upgrading? i know juju is getting a buff, but they both seem a little weak right now.
 
Productive night.

Ranked Rahool up, nearly twice.

90% of the way to another Vanguard rank. Maxed Vanguard Marks.

Finished Thorn Bounty, halfway through Bad Juju Strike part.

Nailed Heroic Weekly on 28 first try. Combined with a few decryptions, I must have earnt 15+ Strange Coins.

Fully upgraded Suros Regime. Used all my Ascendant Energy, but I have a feeling this will be my go to gun when shit needs doing.

Really need to find a few more Legendary weapons. At the moment, I have more Exotic than Legendary!
