So, I just discovered that you can AFK a strike, kill 4 trash mobs at the beginning of the level near the end, and get legendary engrams and strange coins for doing so while the other two complete the strike. (I was one of the two who completed the strike)

In what way is that even fair Bungie?
 
Just started my warlock alt. (27 Hunter is my main)

Should I be storing all my alt's engrams to give to my main? That way my main will decrypt them and continue to level up the Cryptarch?

Does this even make sense?

It would make sense if they were the same class. You are going to need Warlock gear so I wouldn't bother.

You don't want them to decrypt into Hunter gear. I run two Titans because once I hit 20 my alt will hit 26-27 with just the extra gear my main has. Gives me the option for twice the Raid rewards.
 
I need help with the queens mission tonight. Xbox one GT Calm Killer if anyone wants to help me out. Trying to solo everything makes me want to stab out my eyes.

With their server issues, I wouldn't want them punishing people for strange behavior in games. I've been booted into orbit from strikes so many times, people might think I'm one of those chronic droppers. But I'm not. It's just flaky servers.

Besides, if you're good enough to beat the strike anyway, then it's no biggy. If it was a raid, otoh, then I'd be annoyed. Now THAT is a stressful experience. PEACE.

This. Although golden gun becomes ten shades of useless at level 26+ strikes and raids. When you have to unload a full clip to drop a minotaur, you're better off with your regular weapon. Strikers and Voidwalkers really have the best supers in this game. PEACE.

Used to bladedance then moved back to golden gun. All it takes is two people shooting at a maximum. I think it's one of most useless supers, in the grand scheme of things.
 
Fuck these assholes that idle in Strikes for the 25 strikes or no death strikes. If you have somebody idling, quit so they don't advance.
 
My girlfriend just bought the Destiny bundle and we're planning on playing tonight. We'll be on the same network, will we run into any problems joining a fireteam together? Anyone else have a similar setup?

there's another Gaffer here who plays with his wife together. there shouldn't be a problem.

i've been lucky and haven't encountered these dumbasses. i guess leaving is the only way to punish them for reals.

Me and my roommate play together often and we don't encounter much trouble. It's only an issue if our other 2 roomates are trying to use the internet too. Our router can't handle the traffic consistently enough.

GG is so useful against the gatekeepers. Atheon and the Templar, 10 times more useful than dancing.
 
It's really annoying that Exotic weapon bounties take up the same slots as regular bounties. You're expected to work on them gradually but they also make it impossible to efficiently complete regular ones which are short mini-quests. This really needs to be fixed, Exotic weapon bounties should have their own space.
