Would it possible for you to run your level 28 with someone then swap out for your level 26 at the end?
Physics are quite good on it. You can stand on top of it or even try to pop it on the fan and watch it fly.

Vex sync plates at start may be possible, but will be difficult. Templar with 3 people? Good luck, he's gonna enrage. That is, if you can even get to him, and defending the confluxes with 3 people is going to be tough. Then Atheon is literally impossible with 3 people, so there's that, if you can even get to him (gl having only one guy guarding the plates, I guess).

asked about this over the weekend and never got a response. is it a known glitch that armor pieces that increase max ammo by weapon dont always work? i have a chest piece that ups my sniper max to 36 rounds, but occasionally (semi-frequently actually) the game doesnt allow me to pick up ammo beyond the normal max amount. its strange.

Bad JuJu is god in PvE cleanup. Invective is good in PvP.

Doesn't stop the AR's and shotguns being OP though, maybe bungie want to see what happens in iron banner first.

if you're really good you can make it through every phase except the final boss, which requires at least 4 people. unless you find a consistent way to teleport only two people into the portals.
Go for Invective.
To be fair, it is supposed to be getting a buff.
Do you like garbage? If so pick thorn and bad juju, if you want something good than go with invective.
We cleaned the first part in three, but our third player can't play this week. I have someone who can replace him, but I don't know how skilled he is ...

Is it possible that you are confusing currently equipped/unequipped values?
When I run around with my sniper it shows 5 + 25 ammo.
When I switch to my primary it shows 30 next to my sniper.

And I'll get too level 27 with a few more upgrades (no ascendant stuff required, iirc).
So I feel now I'm ready to do that cool stuff people have been doing for a while lol.
I may post tonight after class (GMT +1) to see if some PS3 bro would like to partner with me for some Weekly Stuff (the weekly stuff and marks cap is reseted tomorrow, right?)

Gonna actually be sad to see the Queen go. I got my Titan up to Light Level 25 cause of some of her equipment. I got absolutely fucked with RNG on her though. 10 tokens and 9 of them were helms, something I already have an exotic for. Really need boots or gloves... so now I'm gonna have to grind rep on another character for it. I swear the rep grind is easily the most painful part of this game.
Last segment forces 3 people into a portal with people outside keeping it open while defending it. Without any help outside, you're basically screwed.

There's a good guide for cutting RNG out of the game, written by a GAF member and linked in the OP I think. If you get some bonus random purples then that's a... bonus.
I'm in the same position as you guys in terms of time I get to play (I get on for longer every now and again), and I'm nudging level 27 now. My armour had been all blue until the Queens events (not even all level 20), but since then I've been steadily upgrading as necessary or as I get materials. I don't think any of my armour is upgraded past about 60% because of a lack of materials.
I'm doing dailies and having fun with the strikes and bounties, but I'm not confident to go for the high level stuff yet. And I don't see that as a problem - in several years playing WoW I *never* played the current raid tiers but managed to enjoy myself nonetheless.
Problem seems to be people wanting everything right away, or just not enjoying the actual game itself. I'm enjoying my time with the game, so it doesn't feel like a grind.
Same goes for people bemoaning the time it takes to get x kills for the exotic bounties. I'm just changing my weapon based on the requirement and letting it come naturally as I play normally. :/
You won't beat the raid with just 3 people. Athean phase requires at minimum 4 people as 3 will always get ported (unless you get lucky and the game glitches, sending just 1 or 2 inside)

I don't disagree either. Weapons of Light and with the right team, you can pretty much take down Athean in 3-4 rotations. But Blessing is just as good. It took my team 5 rotations to take down Athean on hard. Would've been 4 if not for one of us dying early in the fourth rotation. we pretty much took a quarter of his health each rotation.While I don't disagree that staying alive is the most important thing, weapons of light can save you at least one if not two full rotations on Atheon due to the increased damage output. Given the choice I'd say that's more important as it lessens the possibility of deaths due to fewer rotations. Your mileage may vary, but that's the choice I use for my bubble shield at the back of the platform.

For sure. I think both strategies are sound. Just so long as people remember to pass through the bubble to get the buff. Not everyone does, I tend to remind people now and then. Sometimes I come off sounding like a dad reminding people to clean their rooms. lol
My biggest problem was taking down those super explodey harpies (whatever they are called, I forget) fast enough. Managed to get a Mythoclast from Atheon yesterday so should be a little better at that now.
4 feels like the absolute minimum and even then, we're probably not overgeared enough yet.
I finished the Bad Juju quest, and wow is it ever terrible. Even farming or doing quick patrols, it's just awful for what it is and the time it takes to get it. Word is a buff is coming for it, but I read that on a fourm somewhere and not direct from Bungie so who know if it's actually true

What do you mean? Doesn't matter if I'm dead or alive to get the legendary armor? If that's true why did they both get it and not me? It was a listed reward in the mission details
titans are def the best class for pvp and they'll likely dominate iron banner, the extra damage they can take plus one kill shoulder charge plus that bubble defensive super lol
