Any reason to think NA codes will be distributed with the upcoming Gengar and Dianfie events? Feels like a good opportunity for them.

I feel like if they were going to just give the demo out through GameStop they would have already announced it like the rest of the world. I think they might do something like Smash 3D and just send out emails through Club Nintendo or something.
Or if we're lucky they'll just put it on the eShop.

Got a report that the MCM Expo in the UK will have it from October 24th to October 26th 2014. Not known if they're having demo booths or the code

I highly doubt it given the purpose of the demo is to play everyday since it unlimited to get stuff to transfer to the full games. To release the demo after would be pointless. But then NoA has made pretty dumb decisions before.....

I can see the demo being available in the U.S. only on the 22nd, as some sort of bizarre compensation for the 1-week-late European launch for ORAS.

The compensation is that Europe and Japan get lots of goodies that we don't, like preorder figures and steelbook cases. I'm so fucking buttmad about that.

If you make a Hotspot named NintenoSpotPass1 you can make a fake Nintendo zone.
I dont know if it actually fakes it completly, but you can get miis with it.

It's been over a decade, they've about tripled their sound team and there are quite a few arrangers and composers now. It'll be a mix of old and new probably.

In all of the music, the composition has remained the exact same with just different sounding digital instruments. That's OK I guess...

The major concern here is that the instruments sound like crud. You can't really do much if you have poor instruments to begin with. Here are a few examples:

Old Fortree City

New Petalburg City (this one's a recreation, but pretty faithful from what we've heard)
Old Petalburg City

Exact same compositions, different instruments or different sounding ones.

I love the Snowbelle City and Pokémon League tracks in XY, though.

The US demo will probably be distributed through Gamestop, Amazon, and possibly Best Buy. I wouldn't be surprised if it included retailers like Walmart was well though.

Well the demo taking place in Mossdeep adds to the rumor of the new mega being Solrock/Lunatone.

Every other company in the world: "Demos are a really good opportunity to show fans of the series how a new entry plays, and to attract new customers"
