I think the hole in the contract though is Disney and Sony can work out having Spidey featured in the MCU. I think it's the same case with the Hulk. Universal still have rights to the solo films but Marvel can include him in team up films.

Because she's a hilarious, charismatic lady who actually looks physically capable in kicking someone's ass. (Not that it matters for a superhero with powers but it would certainly cancel out any potential dumb "she's model thin!!" complaints ala Gal Gadot.

Plus she wouldn't need to put on a distracting accent.

It's still Spiderman though, even if it's a different guy under the mask I still can't see it working. I'd love it but I don't see Sony willfully saturating their brand by increasing the amount of Spiderman films.

That is unless Spidey is only a secondary character in other people's movies and couldn't have his own feature film.
