I finished match in around 10 minutes evolving to 3rd level and this was my first time with hands-on with game. Also i successfully avoided hunters and evolved to 2nd level by eating wildlife only and that was how i spent 70% of my first match.

You guys are lucky, I added 5 traders already and none of them accepted me.
It ran fine for me and I didn't encounter a single bug, but I hear it has a reputation for being buggy (that may be all versions though).
