Happy to finally know who it is as I also tried to get the job and went to england to meet the people at Capcom UK but was not selected for the job. I was wondering who it was. :)
 
Canada Cup is usually hype beforehand. Wouldn't have known it was this week. But it won't be the same anymore. Thanks Art.

Pepeday gonna be at Canada Cup 2014 (I only just realized Canada Cup was this weekend a minute ago)? Guess I'm watching USF4 too this weekend.

Might watch Poongko if he's on stream as well, but ever since Daigo stole his soul, he hasn't been the same. Aside from him being the only one to beat Daigo at that last Japanese tournament I guess.
 
Man, I would totally love an Anarchy Reigns 2. I don't know if the Wii U would do its playerbase any favors though.
 
I am going to have to hold my tongue on this new CM guy for a few months to see how he does, but I have to admit I would not have picked someone totally unknown to represent Capcom's FG titles in Europe. Dawgtanian was a known WSO guy. This guy replacing him's main qualification is having worked at Eurogamer, with a side of his Twitter handle being SF themed.

Hrm. Disgruntled.
 
Wait, Canada Cup is this weekend? Really?? I thought they weren't going to do it anymore, then they were going to do some sort of small event + invitational and then that didn't pan out either. Goddamn.

My new laptop came in today and I'm still getting used to having a screen res greater than my poverty PC monitor's 1280x1024. I can actually multitwitch and see the screens lined up next to one another! :lol

It doesn't need to be a MOBA, but they could push a little in that direction while keeping the open 3D action versus game style. This is pretty much what I want Capcom vs. Capcom to be. Anarchy Reigns + DOTA (as one mode of many) + Resident Evil's The Mercenaries.

100% serious.

That's what I mean. By being a MOBA I meant a team based competitive game with leveling up per match with towers, lanes, and creeps, not necessarily the top down view and mouse controls.

As soon as someone makes a satisfying to control 3rd person melee action moba that works well with controllers, I'm in there.
 
Is twitch screwing up for anyone else? I'm trying to watch spookys stream, but when I click the "Following" link on the main page it asks me to log in and then just redirects me to the home page. When i click on profile it's some account named NULL. wtf.
 
Where does UI discussion fit into the FGW discussion cycle?
