I can't believe people pay what they do for that trash.
My 15 year old cousin let me try a pair while playing on the X1 a few weeks ago. I then let him try out my over ear Monoprice set and he couldn't believe the price and sound difference. I just laughed.
He was genuinely shocked at how much better the MP set I had sounded.
On subject, not sure if I'm buying anything on Black Friday...I just haven't seen any must haves in any category. I kind of want a projector.....for an outdoor setup I want to do...but I'll probably wait. Too much to do with the house as is.
This just in, X1 only has 2 games released in a year.
There's only a couple games on it, none of which are worth $330. I don't know if there's a game in existence worth $330 (to me).

I'm looking for a good PS3 deal. Id like to replace my 60 gig model.
Somewhere around $30-$40 for both. Depending on Unity reception.
$100 worth of bundled games seems great to me. Maybe not compared to XB1 but that's a special case.

Yeah, you guys are going to have to quantify that one to me. I don't see the Xbox One deal coming with a 50$ gift card for everyone - it's a doorbuster, so expect super limited quantities. Unsure about if other retailers are going to follow suit, too.
That being said, if I didn't have a 360 to trade in, that Xbox One deal is looking mighty keen to me.
About 50 bucks for both.

Price could drop further if a ton of people pick up the BF Xbox One bundles so I wouldn't count on selling the codes for much. Then again, if Unity reviews incredibly well at 9/10 (I predict only a 80 metacritic) the Unity code could retain some value.
Just got the Monoprice headphones and some of my friends couldn't believe the price either, just crazy what a little bit of marketing and decent design will push people to buy your product.
I think you're vastly overestimating how much stock they're actually going to have with this deal.
Both PS4 and XB1 are going to sell out Black Friday. Now, for the rest of the month, including the price drop, included games, etc, sure, MS probably won this month. They've been going hard. But these loss-leader, door buster, one day deals have very little impact as they're both going to be completely out of stock within an hour at almost every store.
10% off gift cards don't activate til Saturday and there might not be XB1s left by then

PS4 deal is weak compared to what xbones is.. God damn $329 is already a great price and they still throw in a $50 GC. That bundle wont last long in the shelves.

Well they're both technically old games even though one of them just came out. It's not that it's a bad deal it's just pretty unexciting. As well as the PS4 is selling it doesn't really need the push though.

I bought the codes from Ebay for $35.
I'm setting myself 3 alarms minimum with this exact text as the reminder.
I'm not, as I already have an X1, but they are currently going for about $35-$40 on CAG. Using that as a barometer I figured $30 would be the floor at least early on. Again if this bundle turns out to be a hit you could see the price dropping down further to around $25-$30.

But it's a disc. I'd rather pay full price for the digital version than $25 for a disc. I hate dealing with game Discs. I had pre-ordered the FH2 digital version anyway. Just like I do all my games. It's so much better not messing around with any discs on the Xbox One and PS4.

Because extra people won't be working on thanksgiving for online purchases? It doesn't matter how you buy your goods, you're still forcing additional, longer shifts if you make a purchase around this timeframe.

This would be the case for me if Farcry 4 were out this week instead of AssCreed Unity. Mordor is one of the games I want, so this Black Friday sale is looking better to me. I wonder if FC4 will fall through the cracks for some people - too late for B2G1, too early to Black Friday, and too close to Call of Duty. I wish publishers didn't leave months wide open just to create a logjam over a three week period. It makes even less sense when you consider Ubi's biggest game of the year is out a week earlier.
