Depends on which Wii U you have and how much space you have left. It's listed as a 15GB download in some places, but I'm pretty sure mine showed 11GB when I started the download yesterday evening.

Favorite SmashGaf memory is a tie between the discovery of the SmashGAF fanfic and the Takamaru/Paper Mario prophecy.

My favorite memories are when the ESRB leak came out and everyone was pulling out random fan art to prove that the entire thing was fake, despite the art not looking like the Smash render at all. Why on earth would clones be in their own area and Yoshi with the Mario characters?
My favorite was someone who swore up and down that Doctor Mario didn't look inviting and friendly enough to rep a puzzle game and that Nintendo would never make art of him without a pill. The idea that the pill was hidden (which it ended up being) was ignored.
Then the Tomodachi life screenshot from Famitsu came out and everyone swore up and down that he must have absolutely gotten the issue early.
Then the videos came out and people still thought it was fake, swearing it was just an elaborate Brawl mod because Shulk attacked like Ike
Those were some crazy times. People wanted to believe so much that the leak was fake they started selectively remembering stuff and getting tangled up in very obviously wrong theories. It was interesting to watch from the side lines as someone who thought it was real from day one.

Oh man, what a ride of denial that was. I remember it was the Tomodachi pics that convinced me.
There's something wrong if that's the case. The OS and system updates should not be that big if no other content is in there lol. I'm using an 8GB system with updates and a Wii Sports demo so double check if missed something big.
Or use a USB hard drive if you have a spare one.

No, I just posed the thought that maybe it could be real. I never put my chips into that pile, it sounded too good to be true, but there was a sliver of a chance it was real. Mostly I was just humoring the idea of it being real.
I just thought outright dismissing it when the Great Cave Offensive had a single small screenshot of a random mine cart wasn't really the proper response. There could have been a million different ways that screenshot could work within the "leak" and casting it aside that early didn't seem right, especially since it had guessed a couple of other things correctly.
And I'm still a believer the initial strong leak with Chrom, Chorus Kids, etc was 100% real, just from very early development and things changed over time (especially with what we know of Greninja and Chrom which both line up with the leak being very early drafts of the roster)
