40 minutes! Hopefully the patch stuff is pretty quick, since I typically go to bed around midnight or so. Someone gonna be a sleepy boy tomorrow.

Oh yeah. I'd forgotten about spending the three gaming hours I had on launch day before having to go to bed updating the console and then NSMBU. Thanks.
 
So is Walmart going to have the controller bundle in store too? I see it on the website, but I can't see store inventory. I have one preordered at best buy, but I don't want to wait until tomorrow.
 
It tells me I have 22gb free. I buy the game digital and go to download it.

Well that was the thing. It wasn't just Robin, it was Lucina and Falcon and Chrom was deconfirmed and it wasn't Shulk when all signs pointed to it being him. It was just the perfect alignment for hype.

it's hilarious in retrospect how many people in this thread assumed the ESRB leak was fake

can't blame them but it's really fun to look back at everyone trying to disprove it haha
 
Prepaid at gameplop, almost bought way too many amiibo. I- I might still buy way too many. They look really nice. D:

Pre-loading pretty much guaranteed digital for me. No need to wait for hours like I was fearing that I would.

I downloaded only because I had exactly $60 in eShop funds. I wouldn't have minded buying physical and in fact, would have preferred it since it takes up half of my Deluxe storage space.

Right after I pick up my bundle from Best Buy tomorrow I'm picking up a friend and heading out of town to meet up with a bunch of folks for the Smash 4 weekend! It's gonna be epic.
 
Sadly I have to wait until Saturday to pick it up. Going to go and try to find a Gamecube controller adapter tomorrow because I was stupid and didn't preorder it when I had the chance.
 
I'm waiting at the midnight release at a gamestop freezing my ass off. Reminds me of the brawl midnight release where I was also freezing my ass off. Stupid smash coming out in the cold months

What a rollercoaster of emotions these months---no, year--it's been. So many highs, Ridley lows, Dixie Kong hope, middling pics, uproarious rumors, tumultuous leaks, and such a fever pitch of passion years in the making.
