Fun games LoboReeves! I forgot about the mic in the lobby and spent the last couple of matches trying to let you know I was about to leave so wanted to use my beloved Toon Link again. Epic last fight though.

Edit: Oh dang you live in Oklahoma too!

Yeah that last fight was good! I'm still mad I jumped off the edge at the end of the all Mario match, lol!

Netcode seems a lot better. For Glory was great on the 3DS version but FFAs were kind of a mess. Whether it's because more people are on wired or better coding I don't know, but the FFAs I played tonight were near lag free.

That's really good to hear, Brawl was so disappointing in this respect. I can't get friends together anymore so solid online play is super important. Is this game more like Melee or Brawl so far?

First thing I did when was jump immediately to training and started listening to the Pit smash taunts. Poor Chrom, getting owned by Viridi like that.

Also, wowowow this game looks amazing.

spoiler about the poster:
there's a mewtwo silohuette next to sonic
:D

and yeah, the megaman keychain is WAY better than I thought it would be.

They thought on everything while designing that poster damn <3 I just did the preorder on GP just for the Megaman keychain lol, glad to know it's better than expected!

I just got back with my copy of the game, as well as my Kirby Amiibo. Unfortunately, the Villager and Samus we're both sold out, so I have to go hunting for them tomorrow.

Fun yet inexplicable times!

What did you do to my bae? :O

I've been getting straight up bodied online. I think my win percentage is 35%ish. Guess people are probably coming off the 3DS version. It's weird getting used to the characters after playing a lot of Project M, but the game is damn fun.

I'm watching this Day 1 Invitational tournament, and Pac-Man is totally back-airing his hydrant in one go. I thought they changed that in 1.0.4, which was supposed to bring the 3DS version up to the Wii U version.

What the heck?

Game looks incredible. It's like a generational leap coming from the 3DS version.

My first match online had obvious input delay but that could be the opponent or my wifi.

I just bought the LAN adapter.

Anyone know where I can get the gamecube adapter from?

Those stickers though :x hopefully it'll be easy to take off

So is it confirmed we get coins with Wii u version too? At best buy

If you preordered during that event you should get some.
there is a post somewhere on the best buy forums that confirmed that the stores should be getting a new shipment for the wiiu release.

I am to lazy to find it now, but I was looking around to confirm this before I drove 40 minutes to my best buy tomorrow.

I wish the message system was in-game and not reliant on Miiverse. Played 15 matches online and only experienced slight lag in one of them - For Glory 2v2 match.

Gah, I played Melee CONSTANTLY as a kid, but I can't seem to get the hang of SSB4 :( I just can't find a control scheme that seems to work, everything feels so unnatural. Anybody else having the same problem? Might be just because I'm using the gamepad, but I kinda don't think that's it

Is the pro controller any good for smash? I want a wireless controller and it's hard to find wavebirds now.

Pro controller works great.

Buy a GCN adapter if the GamePad is that big of a hurdle.

actually that might be it...

This game is glorious. The definitive Smash experience for sure. So far my win rate on FG is 100% ~15 matches but it will soon surely plummet. Game looks amazing, sounds great, and plays great on the Wii U Pro Controller. I still can't wait to get my GC adapter though.
