Classic Smash is a pain in the ass with 8 players on screen.
I don't know what the hell were they thinking.
You can't see shit. Too bad they forced that mode down our throats.

At first I thought it would be chaotic in a fun
way but now that I can test it myself I just don't enjoy it at all. It's a mess.

Yep. Classic mode always used to be fun, now it sucks.
 
Anyone know how to get magma/lava blocks to stay put when making a stage in the level editor? Every time I try to place a magma block it disappears from the grid as soon as I toggle to another option.
 
ok yeah it definitely seems like the orders aren't giving me any more CDs

Maybe the rest are Challenges? Like, I don't have the DK Rap CD yet, was that just a normal CD or was it behind a Challenge?
 
just got a room with a great connection. It's like the dude is playing in the room with me. Not input lag at all.

Does anyone know if there is an alternative way of unlocking Pac-Land? I really don't want to play two other games of the board thingy hahaha.

I don't think so. Just set it to 15 turns, goes by pretty fast. I don't think I will ever play that mode again. It's just way too complicated and it doesn't seem that fun.
 
in the duck hunt! event when you have to kill 10 of the ducks with two falcos going after you eventually, when the ducks enter 'fly away' status, can you no longer hit them? it seems like i can't hit them at this point
 
Anyone getting surround sound with this? I have it set up properly and I have surround in MK8 but not here.

Weird that such a high profile game wouldn't have that.
 
Played about an hour or two of For Glory 1v1 with a different person each time. I'm getting slightly better with Rosalina as well as being able to read people, though I'm nowhere as good as others I've played against - mainly folks in this thread.

The connection didn't lag at all in any of the fights I did. For a whole hour or two, no lag at all. I cannot believe this.
 
If anyone feels like kicking in the teeth of a Ness/Sonic player, my NNID is SeventhForce.

I'm kinda new to the whole Wii U thing, so uh... how do I know if someone's added me?
 
Is there a good way to get custom moves? I've been playing Master/Crazy orders and I'm getting a ton of equipment, but moves are rare. And I don't really enjoy classic mode in this version.

I stopped getting them on the 3DS hoping there would be a faster way to get them here, but I'm not sure what mode would be best.
 
Though I have a ton of weaknesses I need to improve on, my biggest ones are fighting against Ness and Capt. Falcon in general. People who play either of them are aggressive in ways I'm not used to, and Ness is difficult for me to find an opening.
