Don't worry, if the First Season taught me anything is that even if the bad guy has a point and did more to positively impact the world than our main character...it doesn't matter they are bad guy and they get beat up!

Sadly. Amon did have a legitimate, but everything was solved when Raiko got voted in and he doesn't even really do anything.

So I read that the clips episode was because of the budget slash and they refused to fire a bunch of people. Is that correct?

I blame Bryke who can't write.
They have their moments of talent, but holy fuck they can't pace the show consistently. I still think the majority of the Kill La Kill characters were written better and that show is tongue in cheek insanity and yes I'm pretty sure the bulk of this thread will not agree with my opinion on this.

I see it's already "mid-week" for Korragaf.
Tch, they might as well use that fan animation that has been coloured for episode 8.

Edit: In a typical narrative, Toph would most likely lose. OR Kuvira and her armée could lose, but still get a lot of dem tree.
Well now they HAVE to make it official.

Only because they're dragging their heels and barely know what the fuck to do with her character.

Honestly, they should have taken notes from Waterloo (1970) and its hammy as eff Napoleon. Then, once.. if Kuvira is defeated, end with a variation of the line "He who saves a nation violates no law." or put a sock in her mouth because Bryke needs to get his.

I'm a bit fearful with how her story will get resolved. If the end resolution is just Korra grinding her into dust in the avatar state then Korra really didn't learn anything and this "redemption" arc of hers was for nothing.

In the next episode Kuvira will turn her super weapon onto one of the other bender nations or republic city, uniting the world against her army. Korea will defeat her in hand to hand combat on the top of Metal Gear in the final episode. Everyone learns the true meaning of Christm...err, balance.

I approve of this, it's probably a better ending that what we'll get. Just add making Korrasami official.

I wouldn't mind if Kuvira made a fucking Metal Gear. She rips off her armor to fight in a wife beater and shouts "SISSTTTTEEERRR!!!!!" in a bad English accent. She plants a bomb on Asami and it's set to explode if Korra doesn't defeat Kuvira fast enough.

Zaheer's poison was actually nanomachines

*slow pan as Kuvira walks towards Korra after a car chase involving them*
Kuvira: NO! LOTUS..!
Korra: Die.

*Kuvira procees to fall over dead. Asami and Korra have a nice chat and ride off into the sunset, but not before giving America it's first lesbian animated scene in a mainstream cartoon.

Speculation based on the latest sneak peek:

-Some mega powerful spirit is now pissed because Kuvira is messing with its vines.
-Korra is going to end up saving Kuvira and/or everyone from the wrath of this spirit.

Book 2 of Korra vs MGS 4
Which is worse guys

gtfo MGS4 is one of the greatest games of all time and a true masterpiece which still holds up today alongside some of the latest next-gen games in terms of gameplay, graphics, storytelling and overall quality and I won't tolerate any of this silliness in this thread so DON'T YOU EVER SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

MGS 4 is definitely a game not everybody got. Game was great though. I marathoned it in like a weekend or something. So much nostalgia in that game.

As someone that owns at least two copies of every Metal Gear (four versions of MGS1) and more playthroughs of MGS1 than I care to say or can remembers:

MGS4 is trash

This thread sure is going to be entertaining to read for the next week.
Ha you've turned this place into a Metal Gear Solid thread now.

Sounds about right.
I'm also expecting Jinora will play a big part in helping Korra try to appease the spirit vines as she's one of the most spiritual people out there now in the show.

Kuvira needs to say, "spirits vines son" before the end of the season.

To be fair, it's not hard to have more fleshed out characters than Korra's cast. Having two characters have a conversation about their favorite food would probably flesh them out more than Korra's cast.

forreal. piece of crap game almost scared me away from the franchise for good. but then mgs revengeance brought it back.

MGS4 is a fine game, not as good as the other three, but it's great compared to other games. Of course I think it focused far too much on trying to wrap up its story and punish people who liked snake by making him old and not actually tell a proper story.

But that what happens when you set up such a long saga, you got to explain some things. Like Vamp, and Shadow Moses.

But yeah, it's a great game in its own right even if it's not as good as MGS3.
