I'm guessing the MK8 thread wasn't big enough to hold the salt you guys have towards each other.

He told me he would kick my ass in Smash
Now I want know what the outcome is going to be now that I found a new main I actually know how to use lol

That isn't just a physics bug it looks like. That actually did 100% damage to Wario somehow.

Probably similar to the Pirate Ship in Brawl where you hit the front of the boat. In this case it only seems to happen at high speed since when they tried to repeat it in the vid the second time did normal damage as the boat had slowed down at that point. The damage zone somehow gets extended too high when the boat's at speed maybe?

So what do you guys want in a future update for this game?? I feel comfortable in that Nintendo listens to us as they updated MK8 fairly quickly with some much needed changes and probably still is.
A second Omega stage option that allows triple platforms on each flat stage. Shouldn't be too hard to implement since the majority of the work is already done.

This plus patching back in proper versions of some of the edited songs. What was the point of giving us a cut-down version of the DK Rap?

Do they suddenly not have the legal rights to point out Lanky Kong has a funny face?

Probably a mistake when editing the song for the Wii U release. The same thing happened with the "Give a Little Whistle' song in the Pinocchio Blu-ray.

My first custom level: a Gradius themed stage based on the Vic Viper. I don't think I did too bad considering the limitations and restrictions of the level editor:

Played a bunch of 6 player + 1 amiibo tonight.

Goddamn this game is awesome. I had been thinking that 8 players would be too much but it's a lot of fun. Playing it on Temple is like peering through time - that stage was made for the extra players.

I love the new stage builder. I wish you had more options for things to place around the map, but the fact that you can draw the stage makes a huge difference.

I was able to recreate the best smash stage ever (Saffron City).

played a round of Smash Tour with my cousins and we had a good time with it

took about 10 turns before any of us really understood what the hell was going on, but the chaos of it all was always entertaining.

i won in the end despite being the only one to get Banzai Bill'd. :lol

Anyone figure out how to do the 328 ft home run contest Charizard challenge? I cannot for the life of me figure out how I'm supposed to make it that far without the bat.

You hit the bag with some smashes and dash attacks, then do a fully charged smash.

There wasn't really a trick to it or anything for me.

For some reason my TV won't display the Wii U's 1080p signal. 1080i works fine but 1080p doesn't. I'm sure my TV is 1080p. Anybody know a solution?

I lost 200 gold in spectate. How does a team with 84% win percentage lose to a team with 43%? That was also a bonus round!

The challenges are really creative this time around. The Great Fox Defense is driving me nuts though.

Yeah, ive never felt so good about losing constantly

Now I did beat you that last round, which means I clearly surpassed your in overall skill by the end , making me the better player :V

...Lets ignore my 20ish losses

Hah hah. I'll have to work my way back up then! :p

Nah, your Marth is good! Just gotta play some more and learn the match ups I reckon!

Is anyone else interested in a few 1v1s?

Yeeeep, got it right after I posted. For some reason I expected the invisible barrier to break way more easily, so I was holding it back.

God, how is this game even better than I thought it would be?

Minor nitpicks:
-The 3DS version remembered which alts you used for your characters, but it doesn't seem this one does. Why??
-Having to choose your profile each time.
-For Fun still limited to 2 minute only matches. I expected this of course from the 3DS version, but it really needs a stock option. I don't particularly care for timed matches.

Apart from that, I am super satisfied with it and will be playing for many years. Last night i invited some friends over and we drank and played Smash. It was the most fun I've had gaming since Melee.

The soundtrack, Jesus Christ. I'm in the sound test just blasting all the music over my surround sound system.

Guess I'll go back on For Glory since I don't really have anyone on my friends list (sob)

It's 4 p.m. EST here and me and my brother was addicted to online 2v2 for HOURS on end. We were on WiFi and the online was smooth as butter. We have never had this much fun in a co op game before while kicking someone's butt while we were at it. Yeah, I see this game getting played for years on end for sure.

I need some sleep now too...ZZZ

Vena, I have to restart my PC (I game on my monitor through capture card software). I was getting video problems/flickering (thus the weird start on this last one). I'll be back in a few minutes, though!

HOW WHAT DID YOU DO I need tips. Also sorry for double post.

Used Bowser, added some attack equipment (and one defense equip just in case).
Then I took my time charge smashing the CPUs.
After that, I abused the hell out of Down-B in the Fighting Mii Team stage.

Master Core was the real problem (I always lost one life here, especially the sword form), but not as much as Master Fortress, considering those danger zones and spawning Smash Run enemies.

Oh wow, is that just because you did 9.0 or do the modes in Smash U net you way more custom/trophy collectibles than in the 3DS version?
A bit of both, though I didn't know this version would be that generous. I just did the same thing in the 3DS one.
Problem is that a few trophies require you to finish certain intensities with specific characters WITHOUT customs, which I have not yet done yet.

. . . Are you serious? Look at his lips in the 3DS version. Looks like a racist version of the Wii U version

Coming from a black guy, I think Doc Louis looks fine in the 3DS version. He actually looks happy that Mac won like a trainer should be. On Wii U, he has these constantly staring eyes that never move. It kind of makes him look lifeless. And even though he's supposed to be happy, he doesn't look it. He looks way too serious most of the time.
