Im still confused on when WFT can stuff people into the ground and stuff but i have another question? Do opponents automatically jump into the air after been stomped down like that or are they mashing jump? I caught people with this trick way too many times and just want some clairity..

I ask because I don't really have anyone to play smash with that isn't terrible at the game but would still like to do things like Co-op classic to speed along trohpy unlocks.

You can only use amiibos in Smash matches; if you could though, amiibos wouldn't speed up Classic trophies that much. Just set a low difficulty and let 2nd player die.

Does this game remind anyone else of DOTA?
It reminds of me that game in the way that Smash is about knowledge and prediction of tons of different characters. Kinda like predicting and mastering heroes. I think that's what makes Smash so deep competitively.

Netcode is pretty good. Players online just need to have a good internet (low latency, good bandwidth) to get the best results. If you and your opponent/s have that, it is as smooth as local multiplayer, even with 4-player with items at any stage.

Depends on the people. I'm east coast and was just playing a bunch of 1v1 matches with a west coast person. You would expect the ping to be high but it seemed fine. We even had 3-player matches going. One fourth person brought in lag, but they dropped out eventually.

Can't you just befriend random people in the Friend List? There is the section "Users Played With". Add him and talk to him directly.
