Steam "Exploration Sale" -- i.e. Autumn Sale -- now live (November 26 - December 2)

Never played a heroes of might and magic game, but i'm tempted.
Most of the steam reviews are just bitching about uplay. That doesn't bother me much.

Worth picking up?

Definitely. Good game, incredibly long too so you get a lot of bang for your buck.

still waiting to see if Doorkickers or Prison Architect get any cheaper. Hoping Running With Rifles goes lower too, but I don't think any of them will.

The question is:
Do I buy these or not?

I think it's probably time to buy Bioshock Infinite. Doubtful, but is there anyone out there who doesn't have a copy of Bioshock? I'll grab the triple pack and won't be needing it. I never played Bioshock 2.. crazy, forgot about that!

To everyone who's all for wolfenstein, would you recommend it to someone who isn't a big fan of shooters? Like is the strength the gameplay or the narrative? I'm not very good at shooters, but I'll play and enjoy shooters with narratives like bioshock and last of us. I've heard such good things about wolfenstein should I buy it?

I'm super tempted by the Evil Within, but I got to a bit in chapter 3 where you meet some dude near a barn and I just got stuck and gave up because there were too many enemies to deal with. Is the rest of the game going to annoy me? :(

The amount of Evil Within discounts in one day and every new discount is better than the last is insane. I guess they will have to give it away for free in the summer to top this.

Anyone want to encourage/dissuade me from buying either?

I'd get the base Max Payne 3 rather than the complete edition, the DLC are all multiplayer map packs (the multiplayer never got any traction). Save yourself at least $2. I'll note it's a divisive game, but personally I liked it.

So, have some cash to burn after selling dem Gunhound cards (thank you, GAF, always giving good advice, heh)...

What stuff is good/really good value/great deal and it's available for $5 or less today? Any hidden gems spotted?

Just buy it, you won't regret it. I paid full price and it was worth every penny.

Anyone have any impressions on Spin Tires? Looks like it could be fun in CO-OP

1. +1 on KSP. Game is 150% worth it at full price. One of Steam's most unique & brightest gems.

2. Spintires is fantastic. Gobsmacking-gorgeous game engine and killer mud physics, even on mid-range rigs. There's game-engine demo on the dev website if you want a quick taste. Highly recommended.

Is there a Steam Gems thread this time around?

I did get Letter Quest: Grimm's Journey for $3.60 yesterday. It's back to $4.79 today but that's still cheap.
