I looked at what remained of the pile on my way out the door (both PS4 and XBone bundles had displays right by the front). There wasn't much left of the XBone display when I left, it's an easy visual observation. Listen, one store means absolutely nothing, I was just sharing what I observed.

I was on the fence until I was playing FarCry 4 and The Evil Within on last gen consoles. The screen tearing killed my eyes, and I had about $300 in credit from an old MacBook I traded in. Planning on picking up a Vita with my next paycheck.

Still too early to tell. It really depends on how many more PS4's are in stores than X1's. Both consoles will undoubtedly sell out, so it really comes down to who supplied more. If there are substantially more PS4's stocked, then yeah, it might have a chance to beat the X1 or force a tie.

Yeah, I was planning to buy a PS4 all along, but this deal pushed me over the edge. Not really much in the way of PS4 originals that interest me at the moment, though. I guess I can play a functional version of The Evil Within now, and next year I'm looking forward to Arkham Knight and Bloodborne. :-3

Looking forward to both of those as well, along Uncharted 4 and Rime. Wish I could jump on this deal myself. $399 for a PS4 with TLOU and GTAV is an insanely good value. If I had someone that could bring it in for me,

I'd totally get it. Next month I have someone bringing back my repaired Wii U from Nintendo along with some new Wii U games like Smash and Bayo 2. Him just bringing that here for me is already asking a lot, I don't want to abuse his generosity by making him lug a PS4 in his suitcase as well

Yes, they're both excellent. I double-dipped on each of these and they're clear and IMO fairly massive visual upgrades over the last-gen versions.

Sites like Groupon and Newegg jumped the gun on this bundle and I missed every last one of them. I did get in on Amazon after planning to hit Bestbuy all week. Just on a whim I checked Amazon at 5 and there it was.

Also, GTA Online is going to be a wreck on Saturday.

Our Sony rep was actually in the store just a few days ago, discussing expected shipments. From the sounds of it, they were determined to get us the inventory we could expect to move.

Also, MS sent us a ton of inventory at the start of the month, we've worked through a good amount of it, but they haven't sent us any huge 'refresher' shipments, so to speak.

It seems to me there were less XB1's to begin with. So less piles doesn't necessarily equal more BF sales.

I still think MS dominates this month though. Sweet price, sweet deals the whole month long. If they don't beat Sony by a sizable amount, oh boy...

I think MS has set themselves up for disaster, once the console is normal price with no free games, the sells will drop like a rock. To win November they've effectively Lowered the conceived value of their product.

Depends if they're willing to continue to lose profit on each console. It definitely won't continue to come with free games. Imo a lot of short term thinking went into their decisions.

I don't think they will raise the price back up by much. Should stay at 349.

MS is getting what they want, to build a higher mindshare and installed base going, maybe a friend-snowball effect going after the holidays.

Sony is making a huge mistake I think. They should be ensuring PS4 annihilated any chance of the competition as early as possible, they are letting XboxOne gain too much ground IMHO. All the ADs and everywhere in Amazon is Xbox, holy crap.

hmmm never seen that movie but the stunt action is cheesy, defies logic at most times, you get your usual bollywood song and dance and some emotional drama thrown in. it is a mix but definitely watchable as a time pass movie.
