Take the gamepad as far as you can and once it loses connection with the console, press the power button a second or two. The gamepad will turn off completely while the console is still on.
That's what I always do with it in Smash since I don't need the gamepad at all and it's only wasting battery.

Good games, tour luci, Martha and peach are damn decent, peach actually had me on the ropes the most, such a scary approach
Yeah your kirby and G&W are easily the best I've played against yet. So hard to challenge them in the air.

Yea, G&W in particular can really shut the air game down. I think you should definitely pick up peach. Looking at the replay and you got most of her shit down pact. Everything else is down to your read game
I've been trying to find someone else to pick up alongside my Lucina and I do enjoy Peach so I might start playing her a good bit more.
My method is to bait her. Shulk has no hope of out manoeuvring her so force her to come to you, dodge and then jab + nair or fair. Vision can be handy but gets a bit predictable.
Speed art can also help if you think the pay off is worth it.
Disclaimer: I am not great so this advice is probably worthless.

I asked this earlier and nobody got back to me. Call me dumb, but does port forwarding effect wired connections? I know nothing about port forwarding. Never been much of an online gamer, so I've never had to mess around too much with this stuff.

Game seems to be bugged, did a 96 score run as dark pit for the 85 challenge. Game did not unlock reward and the game has my record for him as 54 from my first play through as him. WTF? When I died I just backed out, didn't retry.
Also did a normal no heal run in true all star. Didn't get the unlock. The hell is this mess?

Man, is anyone experiencing online lag?
I've had some 1vs1 with random players and the framerate goes down to 5 frames in every match, can't play like this. -.-

To do a Final Smash you have to break the Smash Ball and then press neutral-B to launch it. Each Final Smash is different so it'll take some practice to execute it right. Some like Mario and Samus are a large attack that flies across the stage, so you'd want to get to one end of the stage and turn around to face everyone. Others like Link and Falcon only attack someone that's directly in front of them.
Aside from collecting and reading the descriptions you can go to the Trophy Hoard and touch the blue camera icon on the Gamepad screen to be able to pose them and create little scenes to take screen shots of. It's pretty basic but amusing.
Yeah I have yet to play even one good 1 on 1 match. So far my experience has not been as others described here.

Mine has been super smooth usually. Could be a problem with your wireless network, try getting an ethernet adapter for the WiiU.
Lucky you my local GAME hasn't had any Wii U pro controllers in stock for months.

It's only there if using custom characters/miis. It's their Strength, Speed, and Defense.

Oh, I see. I thought that they just kept the rival score sperate. Funny I'd think it be easier to just have one score card and just subtract based on the KOs the rival gets during the game. Ah well, hammering this one.
I played against a Rosalina yesterday in For Glory and wow. She's a major pain in the ass haha, her attacks are mostly quick and strong and that damn Luma is annoying as hell. I can see why she's top tier. The only way I could damage her was by camping with Yoshi, since every time I tried to attack her moves were quicker than mine.
as a NA player and Mega Man main, that makes me so jealous.

Guys, quick question, can we "reset" the amiibo's data? Like, if I let my niece play with Samus and Samus gets some weird "habits" can I reset her?

Cool thing about being a Nintendo fan in Portugal, this kind of stuff rarely sells out (in the first weeks, it eventually stops restocking). Saw a couple of adapters and the game+adaptor in stores.

Good Lord...I just met the best DK user in For Glory yet. Dunno how he's doing it but his DK is so fast I got destroyed up to 105% before even landing a hit lol. Luckily I won that round 2-1.
The next round though well he just kicked my butt 1-2 twice with DK and Greninja. Could have continued fighting him but hands started cramping. Wish he'd add me on his friends list so I can test my skills against him.
