Steam "Exploration Sale" -- i.e. Autumn Sale -- now live (November 26 - December 2)

I played it on my i5 2500k/unlocked 6950 and it was great. Played at 1680x1050 with a mix of different medium/high settings so I could enjoy 60fps. Your system looks to be better setup than mine so you'll be fine.

I played it on easy and had a cracking great time with it.

Great news. We'll see how it goes, then. Once the install finishes...

Oh, awesome. I also have a 2500k and unlocked 6950. Now I want to get Wolfenstein...

Damn, I spent $129.99 on that bad boy Day1. I haven't even displayed the statue and it's somewhere collecting dust in my closet.

I've never bought a Collector's Edition before, but I always recommend to people not to buy them for this very reason.

I personally don't see the value in a plastic statue, but they are extremely overpriced and almost always show up on CAG a few months down the line.

I had never bought one before this. The statue is waaaaay bigger than I anticipated, 12" is almost comical. I would have put it out somewhere but I feared my kids would try to play with it and break it so I put it away and forgot about it.

I've been interested in Civ V for a while, so I nabbed the complete edition (I think.. Lots of DLC) for $14. Here's hoping that was a good move :)

Bundlstars.com has a sale going on as well. Steam games afais.

Hmm, been kind of holding out fairly well this sale, only bought The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. Was going to buy Lords of the Fallen, but the price still feels a little steep to me. Hoping for south park atleast be below $20
to be considered being bought.

FUCK.

Broke down and purchased Wolfenstein based on GAF Hype. Trustin you GAF.
You will not be disappointed. It's definitely top 5 for me this year.

Gamersgate has the Final Fantasy games (III, VII, VIII) at 50% off and I think you can use a voucher to further the discount. I doubt they are even on sale on Steam or if they will be lower than 50% during the winter sale.

Happy to get Spintires, ecstatic to see it was less than a GB to download.

Disappointed to learn it does not have a cockpit view, is that something the author has planned?

Picked up Shadow Warrior for 4 bucks last night. I had no idea how great this game was until a friend clued me in. Easily one of the better purchases I've made in months.

I intended to make a big dent in my backlog over the summer, but I got Civ V in the summer steam sale and it was about the only thing I played. If you like 4X games at all, prepare to be swept away for a long, long time.

Can't decide if I should play through Wolfenstein or Mordor first. They were both high on my wishlist. Damn you Steam sales, I still have to tackle games I got over 2 years ago on these sales.

In for Astebreed and Gunhound EX. Gonna wait on Wolfenstien...and I would've been on Castlevania 2, but I dunno if its too far in the other direction from what you expect in a vania game.

Two games are missing in the german store from the sales down below. Which ones?

Edit: okay, Mortal Kombat and Sleeping Dogs.
