Holy smokes you are good! Who know Charizard could move like that?! You are the first Charizard that scared me! I put him down because I couldn't figure him out but maybe I'll pick him up again. Give me some tips with Charizard. You connected your moves very well. What can he get punished by?

Your Shulk isn't bad either!

I've got a lot to learn. Now give me some tips please. You read me so easily!

xD Thanks man. You're the first good DK player I've come across too.

Regarding Charizard, that's the thing if you correctly space his moves he's really hard to punish, his most punishable moves though are B-Air and Flare Blitz.

Some tips to using him are learning how to use N-Air and Flamethrower correctly since they are his best moves. You can short hop N-Air and not get any landing lag. If you do this correctly and connect you can combo another move into it like jab or dash attack. Learning how to fast fall N-Air is another key move with him.
Flamethrower is a really good move for poking because it comes out fast and has good reach. Using it to edge guard is even better as you could tell from our matches, it messes up the oppents recovery making them more vulnerable.
Also Charizard's grab is really good, especially an out of shield grab. It has good range compared to other characters without hook shots etc. He can also act instantly after his back throw so use it to your advantage by chasing after them.

There's more stuff about him too but the things I listed are most important. I'll give you more tips later cus I got to sleep, it's 6 in the morning. xP

Man I am beating my GF's ass in this game lol. We were really evenly matched in the original smash bros and would have epic battles all the time, but now I'm just dominating. She gets so heated, I feel bad and feel like I should let her win one once in a while, but the competitor in me won't allow it haha.

I want you to play a Charizard main in the FGW threads, QisTopTier. I want to know who comes out on top.

I usually don't do that against characters with reflectors or the ability to absorb. I sort of cut loose when they can't do anything about it though, heh.

And sure, I can do a couple more. Room's up!

GGs, I was messing around with those guys, my lucario isn't good at all lol. You changed it up some which is good.

I figured, lol. Even still, I'm glad I didn't have to face your Fox on Halberd. Those damn lasers always force an approach, so having the extra platform helped a lot.

As for Lucario - he's a great character, but his range fucking sucks. Changing over from playing him in Brawl is strange, because he doesn't have the lingering hitboxes anymore. And post patch, his Extremespeed is crazy punishable onstage unless you cancel it.

And thanks! I usually take a little bit of time to change things up. I need to be faster at that if I want to be any good.

I take it that Greninja's your main?

Sorry for playing pretty terribly there >.>

Also I'm not sure what happened with that last match. Did your internet drop for a bit?
You're doing fine. Some unfortunate SDs, but I can tell you know what you're doing. It's nice facing a Shulk that knows what they're doing.

And I guess it did for the briefest of moments because I was able to connect back right away. Really odd.

I'm not sure what's going on with the stuttering now since it was fine until the previous match.

Yeah, he's good my only gripe is he feels so sluggish for his size. Yeah they did nerf it I would use it a lot when I did play with him before. Yup greninja my main.

Great games, man! I gotta go unfortunately, but you definitely have the best Villager I've ever played. Couldn't quite seal the deal on most of those, and even those last couple of matches I won just barely. Definitely need to play again soon!

Yeah GGs. I had a feeling you were gonna switch to Mario (everyone always goes to a character with a reflect lol), but I didn't know you had a good one. Until next time!

How are the amiibos working out for you dudes? Do they really start to play just like you?
Mine have taken a few cues from me. My Peach has some of my tactics written all over her. Link, not so much, but he has the same approach to fighting games that I do now. Massive zoning and an attitude of "I'll fight you, if you can reach me."

What's interesting, though, is that they're iterating on what they've copied. I did the ground-float to fair move with Peach a lot against amiibo Peach to show that to her, and she started copying that. She beat my amiibo Link using that. Well, in return, Link took a cue from my Zelda and started zoning, if there's not an arrow, boomerang or bomb in the air when he's in play, there WILL be. I never spammed boomerang that much... but considering his success rate with it, I might have to.

And how did Peach respond? She now floats in on Link at head height, above the arrows. I should show off float to dair to her next.

Wow, two side Bs recognized instead of Up bs. Awesome.

I'm done. Thanks for playing, Lugia! Sorry it ended in such a lame way. You were starting to read me, there, anyway. Your Shulk is fun!

Yeah, I stand corrected. That's definitely worse than what happened to me against WFT. I had plenty of accidental SDs anyway so don't feel too bad. =p

Shulk's not the only character I use but I figured I probably shouldn't try testing out characters I haven't practiced with much after what happened to Mega Man.

Thanks for all the matches!

How is the speed compared to Brawl/Melee in your opinion?
Definitely faster than Brawl. Close to Melee.

I'm so bad against certain people in For Glory. I think I'm so used to seeing and playing good people that when I come across someone rolling constantly, I have no idea what to do. I feel like I'm better than those players, but they do beat me sometimes, so who knows? It's frustrating.

EDIT: Hey Oric, I'll open a room if you want to play. Already have you added!
Down smash is your friend.

Marth > *bootleg Marth

Both of them.

That said, as someone who's been playing the character in every incarnation for almost 15 years now, Smash 4 Marth is probably the most boring Marth to play in the series. It really hurts.
How is Smash 4 Marth more boring than Brawl Marth? Because less KO power? I didn't play much Brawl.

Haha yes - when I KO'd someone with side smash and she said "feel the burn..." or something, I just cracked up.
I wish I "got" WFT. She'd be so much fun.

Wow, be sure and send that to the rest of us when the share feature is up, looks great.
Seconded.
