I'm great in 3-way FFA matches, but when we hit four people, I start to lose my groove. This is where it all falls apart, guys.

Pic of the day. Tomorrow, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will be released in Japan! The players in Japan had to wait a bit longer for their release, but then again, they did get the 3DS version first. We were glad to be able to release this game in the Americas just in time for Thanksgiving in the United States.

Pic of the day has continued since E3 2013, and I would like to bring this series to a close today.
A total of 384 posts and roughly 500 screenshots have been posted, and there's even more screenshots if you count the ones I've posted for different regions.

The origins of pic of the day was sharing one picture a day of the game in development inside the company. It started out just as a small bonus for the staff.

However, once we started sharing pictures with the public, it was a much tougher process. We had to be more careful to choose appropriate pictures to post while keeping a consistant schedule regardless of how busy we got, all while some people only wanted new information from my posts.

It's nice to finally be able to get one weight off of my shoulders. But, we promised to create Mewtwo as a playable character, so I can't relax too much yet. I hope you'll look forward to Mewtwo joining the battle!

Seriously though, it's always surreal (for a few months) that a new Smash Bros. is actually out and I can play it whenever I want. I love the pic/post of the day style market that Sakurai gets going for these games, and I hope the next Smash utilizes, regardless of who's heading it up.

Great games indeed! The Link dittos were really fun. I'm a little disappointed in my Shulk play (he's my main and Link's my 2nd) tonight >: Ah well, something to work on. Also, I'm not sure if it's Zelda's stuff is just that safe, or I'm terrible at punishing it with Lucy lol.

Let's play again sometime!

yup, Link dittos were too much fun, I main him and sub Marth(yup, won't give up on him P:) and ZSS, thou I didn't use her much, and you destroyed her with Shulk lol

as for the Zelda thing, I really don't know!! that lady is full of gimmicks, I still feel like I just won because I got lucky with the magic kick lol

and yeah, let's play again someday!

Just got this game today, but I'm having a problem connecting to friends on WiiU. It keeps giving me error code 018-0515. I never have any problems with PS3 or PS4 connections but my WiiU is giving me problems.
 
Just had an interesting encounter in For Glory. Was playing a Captain Falcon player and we were pretty much even in win losses for the first few matches. Ended up winning two matches in a row and the guy changed his tag to URAB*TCH. I Ended up winning the next couple matches also and then he changed his tag again to IMDRUNK and then he just started playing terrible. Got a good laugh out of the whole thing.

Also sad to see the end of the PotD. Hopefully it'll be back once the new stuff is ready to go.
 
Aww, POTD is over. That was a fun ride.

So Brawl had the Dojo. Smash 4 had POTD. I expect Smash 5 to just have tweets about the game, daily.
