No. PS2 destroyed Dreamcast and that killed SEGA since they were already down and out. Sony pretty much killed Shenmue. Makes the whole situation kind of awkward to console warriors of that time period who want another Shenmue. Hehe.

I was a Dreamcast fanatic back in the day, I absolutely loved that console. But I never blamed Sony for its quick death; things just aren't that simple. Sega really weren't helping themselves during that era, and the grave mistakes they made with the Saturn hurt them more than the PS2 ever did.

Anyway, the kind of audience that a great many Sony titles appeal to would find a lot to love in the Shenmue series, so many of them just don't know it because they've not been given the opportunity to play the games on a Playstation system.

Fuck man, just killed all my hopes.I don't even have more hype to PSX,probably won't see it.

We need someone to confirm, we cant let the hype train derail and crash !
And o god let it be FF7 if its not Crash or TLG or Shenmue....dont do this after al week of building hype !!!

Why does his tweet single out TLG or Crash guys? Honestly, he could've seen god knows what other game and TLG or Crash could still be there....

There is a clear dark force at work here trying to stop the hypetrain. Do not be fooled. Do not be defeated. We will ride this damn train to the ends of time.

That still doesn't de-confirm any of them really. He said he got A press release that excited HIM. The press release he was given might have been from a different game and not one of those. There's still a chance that some of these games very well may turn up.

TBH, I never expected Shenmue, TLG or Crash to be shown at PSX.

There are too many games out there for me to be always fixated on those old games/franchises. TLG has best chance of coming out soon, Yosp confirmed that they are still working on it, but even for that game I am taking slow approach. It will be out when it is out.
