The Game Awards 2014 Thread: Keighley unveils, less McHales

This is the least concerning thing about the game.

Oh sure, no doubt about that. And I really don't even mind, but it's certainly noticeable. But yea, I'd like to see just what exactly the meat and potatoes of the gameplay is going to really be like as well. Maybe during the Playstation event this weekend, I hope.

It won't.

None of these type of huge, massive, too-good-to-be-true-games, ever do.

I hope the best for the team, but lets be real. It will be under cooked, shit will be removed from the game and it won't live up to the promise. Just accept it.
You are an awful person.

Welp, I've seen the new No Man's Sky footage so I can go to bed. Watching this in the Eastern timezone and living with a toddler in the house does not mix. I needs me some sleep.

I still have no idea what No Man's Sky actually is by watching these trailers. I need a game play trailer that isn't a cut-scene trailer. :|

Fucker. I wasn't that interested in the game but he just seems so genuine that I want to support his team and hope that the game will turn out great. Are pre-orders listed yet? 2015? 2016?

Looked beautiful as usual but every trailer for this game has been the exact same so far. Show me what the hell this game actually is already.

I still dont get No Man's Sky.

I mean, it looks awesome. But what do you do in it? Fly around?

My thoughts exactly. Someone enlighten me on what is so revolutionary about it except flying around. Do you have a goal?

EDIT: Not trying to bash, just curious why many find it so appealing.

Just can't get on the hype train for No Man's Sky. Everytime I see something "new" it looks exactly like what we've already been shown. You have a ship and you can go anywhere, that's cool and all, but everything looks devoid of any real life.

Oh wow, this is fucking awesome music.

OST is gonna be mine.

Also, if people are too stupid to not understand what No Man's Sky is about at this point, then maybe it's simply not for you.

I think Sean is just happy to actually be making this game. Pop in be damned for fully procedural universe that looks absolutely fantastic.

Hopefully they can optimize it before launch.
