I don't think the FF7 Remake people are insane. There's no reason to think it's happening now or will be revealed at this event, any more then any of the other dozens of events where it's not been released. But it's absurd to think that it'll never happen. They've remade do many of the FF games before and it would be just such a money spinner that I can't imagine why, at some indeterminate point in the future, they won't do it.
