I could see an official acknowledgement. He's never shied away from practically confirming that he's working on GoW, but it's never reallly "yeah, my next game is GoW4, #dealwithit"
 
Turns out this hype train was so crazy that we screamed Final Fantasy VII and Shenmue days before the keynote and started having realistic expectations hours before it begins.

We need to raise our expectations again. The Last Guardian is happening GAF, this is the year.

Fuck realistic expectations, I'm all in again :D People were telling everybody to lower their expectations before FFXV got announced, too, and I didn't listen to them then either, because I BELIEVED.

Please be there, FFVIIR. Please.

3 hours left. Anticipations is building.

Missed the VGA's yesterday (due to it being in the middel of the night over here), and seemed to have missed some cool stuff. Tonight it won't happen again. (it 7PM here when it starts so...)

Barlog has always been loose lipped, he randomly announced GoW3 and the DualShock 4, I wouldn't be surprised if someone said "and what of the future of the franchise?" and he said "I'm directing GoW4" or whatever, but in terms of a press release announcing the game officially? I doubt it.
 
People saying nothing leaked. Have you lot forgot about the big megaton Street Fighter V. And also the Dragons Dogma Online trademark.

Then give me then a reason to join in on the hype; Its fancy graphics won't cut it for me, you can give me gorgeous set pieces, but if my entire actions during them is shooty bang behind cover, well I had my fill of that in the first 3 games

I did enjoy them, but as is they need to add more to the combat and gameplay. Fancy shmancy graphics can only catch my interest for so long, and when all is said and done, it wouldn't exactly be a GotY contender for me :P
 
This is the day that Crash Bandicoot live..or die forever.If it don't happen today it's over. I'm not expecting it. I will try to have realistic expectations today.

...Rez? Where did you hear that? That'd be a bigger megaton than TLG for me, honestly.

Anyway, is there gonna be a liveblog somewhere? I won't be around to watch the stream unfortunately.
 
Going to be honest and admit that I hadn't really been paying any attention to this but having a look through the thread it seems to be much larger in scale than I was expecting it to be. It's almost like there could be some E3 sized announcements in a few hours, have they done a show like this before?

It's a really good time to have it thought, hopefully it'll build some positivity for people thinking of buying a new console for Christmas.
