Quick LiveStreamer tip: launch the stream like so:

livestreamer twitch.tv/playstation source -o D:\test.mp4

Then, you can open test.mp4 with something like MPC or VideoLan. You can then pause, rewind, forward like a dvr.

You will also have a copy of the footage after all is done.
