PlayStation Experience Event 2014 - 20 Years of gaming memories distilled

The Order looks like good cover based fun, nothing groundbreaking, but doesn't really need to be. Getting kind of a Wolfenstein vibe from it, and I love me some Wolfenstein.

I really hope the levels further down the line in The Order open up. Everything is just so cramped I don't see the game being enjoyable after a first playthrough (and even on the first playthrough it might get tiring to always be channelled downed a preset path). It doesn't seem like you have much (if any) freedom of approach.

The Order has had so much doubt around it for a long time and nothing they've shown so far has changed that for me. I was really hoping the more I saw the better it would look but I'm just not feeling it.

How much did she pay for that jacket?

if The Order comes with a "cinematic difficulty" where you just hold a button and the game plays itself, so I can enjoy the visuals, I might buy it.

I just knew that when ready at dawn was making a shooter that it'd have awesome melee combat as well because of their past with God of war. Everything they've shown seems so derivative though. Idk.

Jesus what do people have against The Order? Its a third person shooter with a big focus on storytelling, its just that you don't really know anything about the story yet

Would you also call the Uncharted demo dull if it was a new franchise you didn't know about? at the very least the setting in The Order looks very interesting

Oh look a QTE knife fight ripped out of Resi 4. Nice.

The whole thing seems heavily influenced on RE4, IE a boring OP shooting gallery with terrible AI and no sense of urgency, just over-powerment with cool moves and weapons.

Hated RE4 for that, but I suppose there's always the chance this game has a much better story / characters
