Hmm... I guess I haven't tried using bite. I don't know, I think I agree with the air speed thing. I don't like his new FSmash much either.
Yeah his approach got killed off a bit since DAir now has landing lag and NAir is slower. The thing about this Wario is that his edge guarding is insane. He can gimp really deep with all his aerials, and then there's his waft which is even better now with the air dodge changes and it having more knockback at full charge.

Music in this installment of Smash is pretty underwhelming. MK8 and Tropical Freeze drizzle body fluids on it from a great height.

Couldn't agree more. I still can't believe Tropical Freeze wasn't nominated for best soundtrack at the Game Awards. And I still can't believe that one of the two Tropical Freeze songs they brought back for Smash is YET ANOTHER DK Island Swing remix.

I can't stand him in this game. I've yet to see someone use him well, and I loved him in Brawl but hate him here. I think he's a definite contender for one of the worst characters. Any tips?

I mained King Dedede and Wario in Brawl, but I've dropped Wario entirely. He feels a lot worse.

The one music placement decision that bugs me the most is having nearly all of the Mario RPG music on Woolly World instead of on a Mario level. Like, at least put it on the Yoshi stage that is a Mario stage in all but symbol.

With Gritzy Desert being cut from Brawl, and the Finale being way out of place quality wise on Galaxy (a DS rip on a stage with all fully orchestrated music stands way out), I have to wonder if there's a cut RPG Mario level. There's a lot of RPG music on weird stages or cut that it seems possible.

Didn't Brawl have like a million F-Zero songs already though?
And it had a million Mario songs too. A million of everything. Not sure what your point is, considering I was talking about new tracks.

EDIT: In fact, that's part of my point that I feel works against this game--it leans rather heavily on content from past Smash Bros. games to fill in holes.

I understand the appeal of these Amiibos. My little Pikachu can beat me now, I'm so proud.

It's a shame you can't use them for coop single player though.

Also, he still hasn't gained stats, and he's level 49!

Is anyone organizing a GAF tournament? The pokemon doubles tourney was amazing last year. Would love to see something like that for SSBWU

Was able to nab myself a Falcon and Diddy amiibo, would've gotten Mac but he seemingly wasn't being stocked. In fact he was the only new amiibo not being sold.

Going to break them in and let them get used to my DK and Yoshi amiibo, get them to at least level 10 and decide what kind of equipment I should give them.

So I've decided to get a Wii U sometime early next year and I'd like to get Smash Bros. with it. I never really liked the GameCube controller so I'm wondering what the next best one is for this game. Also, is it worth getting the pro controller or just sticking with the gamepad?

Ha. I keep trying to play Falcon like Melee or something. Lol

I really like your Ike. :)

I have no idea why I keep losing my jump on your jab, that first death was weird.

Be gentle on the Ike, though, only picked it up as a pocket heavy recently to counter Lucarios (and heavies don't actually suck for once). I enjoy playing against people much better than myself though so bring it on. :D

Ha yeah. That one was wierd.

And i can't, you're ike screams rush down to me. Lol

I've never been a GC pad fan myself and I find the Pro works great for me. I tried using the pad but the button placement feels off for smash to me (despite never having any problems with it on any other game :P ) while the pro feels like everything is where it needs to be.

Ultimately I'm sure it's down to the individual what works for them but consider me a pro advocate :3

GGs Spinosaurus, you really made me work for it that time! I'm impressed with your Wario, it's really developed since I played you on 3DS. I hope to see it get even stronger!

I just wish it wasn't laggy. :(

Gosh darn bite and bike, they're annoying! ><
