Has anyone else been unable to play the Ignition dlc? I 'purchased' it but i can't access any of the new cars or events that use those cars. I've tried renewing licenses, deleting/reinstalling the game etc and nothing has worked.

Yeah just finished the second tour event up in the mountains (Chile i think, wasn't paying attention!) - looked much better and super clean, maybe the India track is just ugly!

Funnily enough, India tracks are my favourite in terms of looks. I love how colourful they are - and IMO they look the best in sunny weather.

The weird thing is I've played a couple more events there and they seem great, that first event in the game was super ugly though. I also found the RGB full settings on the PS4 and that has improved things a lot.

That was a another things that hurt the game at launch for me. Music is huge for me when it comes to racing games, and at the time the PS4 didn't have customer soundtrack support yet. I almost literally could not touch Driveclub until that update, which I'm SO freaking glad finally happened. Now... it's a blast.

Probably just better mixing I guess.

Car samples are fine, but I feel the overall sound levels could do with some adjustments though. Some people will probably point to tyre squeals but I think they're not too bad - tyres are pretty loud when they start crying.

But I think that car-on-car impacts in chase cam are a little too loud, they are also something I've seen people say are a bit naff in terms of the actual sounds but they kind of remind me a bit banger racing, which is pretty much the only place I've seen cars crash so they can't be that unrealistic. Come to think of it, online was pretty much like entering one of those races before the anti-spin patch

Also the competitor car engine noise levels need raising.

Having played some more I have to say I am in love! Game is awesome, racing is really fun, can't understand where all the bad feeling has come from on this (ok bar the online problems, that I can understand!).

No idea. I know improvements are coming that aren't just ambient sound. But don't know to what extent. I'd be happy with just much better mixing

Did you re-purchase the Ignition pack within the in-game store? A lot of people have said that fixed the issue for them. They issued a new fix approx. 12 - 14 hours ago.

On my PS4 i still don't get the option to repurchase it (either directly through PSN or in game).

I went to the website though, and was able to repurchase it but still didn't work

Once you do that, It should allow you to purchase the Ignition Pack from there. Once you do that you can "Purchase" each of the cars for free.

Jamie responded to me on Twitter yesterday and told me that the problem was fixed. I came home, tried it and sure enough everything worked for me finally.

I did try that, it never worked. Just flashed a warning saying that there was no level on the car but i would have to download it (which i already did).

I finally went back to PSN website (on my PS4), clicked download (for the 3rd time) and this time i noticed under Add ons under the tab on XMB the Ignition dlc was broken down into the actual cars, not just "Ignition add on". After that it was unlocked. So i'm not sure what finally unlocked everything since i did all of the steps about 5 times this morning alone.

Don't even try to attempt a wet/snowy track with something heavy like a Bentley.

It's ugly!

But I love that the weather has such a big influence on the driving mechanics.

Not only is the Bentley a beautiful car, but its weight is completely offset by the fact that it's AWD. It's one of the most stable cars in the game on wet roads.

Seriously. The effect on handling is so pronounced on hyper cars. Not to mention how each turn can have varying degrees of wetness. Feels like I'm starting from scratch! Love it!

Yeah. I saw someone mention that somewhere else. I thought that was for the problem some people had where the downloads never completed.

I never received any automatic downloads or store codes via email or in From Playstation notifications.

Congratulations, gooood idea. Yes it it is fun, the tracks are very excellent to run in both directions. And cool thing about weather is how it sets the mood, or literally 'atmosphere' lol.

It's shocking how unappealing the first event looks. It's like the conditions, the unadjusted HUD, etc. just not the best way to show the game.

Rain in multiplayer can bring a lot of fun to it, when people in front start crashing like crazy when it intensifies and you breeze past them, only to crash several corners later
