Yup GGs! Great Yoshi. I hate those damn eggs, Dedede moves like a blimp so it's hard to dodge them :p

Just out of curiosity, are you canceling and perfect pivoting with Sonic all the time or does his attacks just work that way? I've always hated him in Smash so I never really used him so I don't know. Also I don't know all the technical terms for these techniques so sorry if what I'm saying makes no sense lol
 
Ike is pretty fun to use, but his bad matchups are baaad. Definitely not a high tier character, you just have too big of a disadvantage against some opponents due to your speed. Fun though!
 
That one was a lot better in terms of latency, dunno what was up with the previous match.

And, man, these SDs. Showing that I'm out of practice, heh. 3 - 3.
 
Hold on, let me do a quick speedtest and see if this is on my end, because these spikes suck.

To be fair to myself, I experimented with Ganondorf and Little Mac to regain a sense of this game during this set, heh.

And things are fine on my end. Guess it must be the natural distance or something else.
 
So guys, I'll be joining the WII U family on Xmas eve and can't wait to play this. I know this is going to be highly subjective, but who are the most fun characters to play as? I'm gonna have a lot of family around who don't know anything about Nintendo characters so if I can just tell them "pick this character", it's going to go a lot smoother.

I'll be maining Sonic, for what it's worth :)

I think Wario and Dedede are the most fun, but they're probably not the most easy characters for beginners to play with.

You're able to cancel his side-b Spindash with L/R while you're charging it. It can create some mindgames when you're approaching opponents, so I basically use it during the whole match. I don't use Perfect Pivoting since I still need to get the technique down. :P

GGs! But I can't help but feel that the lag there was impeding the both of us, and that it might have been because of me, even though Speedtest results are normal. If you want to have another FT5 another time when conditions might be more optimal, tell me and we'll reset our score.

For now, it was 5 - 3.

I love that Sonic spike so much.

I had a lot of problems with that spin dash > homing > death SD off the stage during initial matches, I don't know what was up with that. Felt more confident after I wasn't doing dumb stuff like that, haha.

Good games. In the first one I could read your Sonic a bit but then you bodied me haha.

Still, I'm happy with the way the Little Mac match ended haha. I saved the replay :-P

EDIT: Yeah, lag was a bit crappy in the last half. Still, I feel you'd win anyway with less lag. We can still play friendlies sometime!
 
Is there a trick or something to getting the Sheriff trophy?? This thing is freaking cursed. It is the last trophy I need and I've been doing Trophy Rush like crazy the past week to get the remaining Special Moves and this one trophy refuses to show up.

Who do you consider your main? I'm not really good enough to be giving others advice but I think you've got the reflexes and skill down but you tend to run patterns that are predictable. I think you had the most success with Zero Suit because your pattern with her was more difficult to get in and punish, but when your opponent knows where you'll be or what you'll be doing it's almost never a good thing.

Just work on changing it up and you'll be fine! :)

Edit: Also, you don't suck. Stuff like that's not gonna help you improve!
