DMR has a much higher zoom, and a 5sk as opposed to the BR's 4sk. The differences aren't really apparent on Truth and Empire, but I think they'll have a more demonstrably different role on larger maps.
Why not have more variety? Some people prefer the DMR, some prefer the. There's no harm in having both.

I was attempting to get in from outside and was hitting errors each time.
They may have been bypassing the errors by already being in lobbies or something.

Around 8 hours and a couple minutes.
And I agree. Take it offline for a day or two for maintainence and bring it back up for Christmas!
