Finally cleared all Events on Hard today.

No Mere Sparring Match takes the cake for most annoying one. It took me a lot of time to figure out a decent strategy to clear it on Hard.

The Final Battles weren't that bad. I got both in about 5-6 tries. I struggled with the All-Star ones more (especially the one with Toon Link and ROB).

Kirby's Crazy Appetite was pretty easy. I was scared of it because of the comments here but I cleared it quickly. It's very random based though so I can see it being a pain.

Overall, Events were cool. I liked the one with Falco and the falling Mr. G&W. Also the ones with crazy robots (giant metal ROB and the Shulk one). Conditions to get rewards were hard but mostly doable.

Is there any achievement related to Co-Op events?

There is a direct correlation between the size of your TV and how easy that event is, lol. I was having a tough time with it (in fact it was the last event I had to clear the reward condition), then the first time I decided to stand close to the TV so I could actually SEE the food, got it first try.

Hahaha my TV is like 20''. I had a hard time noticing the food!

Yeah, I had a hell of a time with that one, too--and I have a 32" TV. As Blackquill and SoldnerKei mentioned, immediately inhale Dedede and snag his Inhale power. I start by heading right and looping up top to inhale the food that appears on the top-most platform. From there, pause the game after inhaling a piece of food to determine your next destination.

Ideally, you should be inhaling food that restores more HP, like shortcake, turkey, etc. Your main goal, however, should be to avoid taking damage, so don't risk trying to devour a piece of shortcake that's surrounded by three Dededes. Instead, use your map to find an unguarded piece of food/treasure chest and make your way there as quickly as possible. I found it was also helpful to send the mine cart hurling toward your enemies by hopping on and off really quickly. Plus, that way they can't ride it and crash into you either. Once you get a rhythm down, it becomes a little more manageable.

It was easily the challenge I spent the most attempts on, so I understand your frustration, but it's not impossible. Good luck! :D

I'm a bit out of practice with Link and I've barely used Mega Man, but I felt like using them for a couple of matches.

Yup, good games! Towards the end, I started to use characters I haven't used since the 3DS (Lucario, a little bit Greninja), or at all (Lucina). Shulk's counter is OP, man.
 
For the Kirby one I just recommend running all the time! Kirby's dash attack and aerials are good so if you see food and there's one DDD there you can take him out of the way easily with either Nair, Fair or a dash attack. Otherwise, just run a lot. Kirby's a ton faster than the DDDs and the stage is huge, so if you avoid getting hit and look for abandoned food, you'll get it! Remember that the fancier food heals more!

Gotta agree....would love to see all the enemies in HD...also the race game at the end is fun. Kinda wish it was a selectable mode.

I want to be good with Pit and Pitto. I really do since I like everything about their moveset and attacks (dual wielding swords, plus archery!? Yes please), but I just suck with them. Can't kill anything unless they're around 160% life.

Also hope I showed why walled omegas are great for Lucario :v

Edit: Ok that Norfair test match was fun except for those sudden sparks I forgot existed killing us both out of nowhere lol
 
So, I've been getting online on my Wii U and messaging people in my friends list to see if they want to play. No one ever responds though. I've never sent messages to friends on a Wii U, do they pop up over whatever the person is doing like on a 360, or does the person have to actually check if they have messages?
