PSN connection problems (12/24)

xbox live works for me but psn has completely prolapsed its butthole. all I want to do is update far cry... :(

you know after reading about him briefly on wikipedia that he is/was a hacker not to mention founder of megauploads. I can this more then likely what he is doing
 
I got friends coming over tomorrow and we're destined to end up in the living room playing games - BUT NOW THAT WON'T BE POSSIBLE, WON'T IT?

Video games: it's a big deal! This shit don't happen to other services, at least not this often. Ridiculous.
 
I just need on to log into Origin once so I can set my background story for DA:I.

I checked the companion app just now and works fine, shows friends and all.
 
Git a close from Sony that if I renew my PS Plus I get 2 months free. Can't even log in to redeem this sucks, because I also cannot play plants vs zombies with my son : (

You should be able to update the game.

Downloading updates seem to be working, everything else is basically keeled over.
 
Everything worked fine on my Vita this morning,PSN Store,Netflix so I am hoping its working on the PS4 so I can continue my Dragon Age Inquisition...otherwise it's Far Cry 4 offline,which I didnt want to start until I finished DA I...will check later,Province of Quebec here,PSN on the PS4 was a no go when I came back from the XMas family reunion around 1 this morning.

Anyway, I'm still completely down here in N.Carolina. Can't do anything on PSN, besides netflix. Feels bad man.

What do you do with that quality single player time sony just gifted to you?

I think I'll either continue my Silent Hill 2 HD playthrough (in the prison right now) or I'll push forward in FF7. Stopped last christmas right before wutai.
 
Was just on the PS4 and played a few rounds of Battlefield (east coast, U.S.) but the server browser was barren and only about a dozen people from my list were active; still, it's progress!

Spent like an hour creating a character in 2K15, then just as I was about to finish was booted because the thing finally connected to PSN. Something about a "change to login settings" or something. May never get the ears right again.
 
I was able to get to the front page of the store (web) which is more than I was getting until now.

Still can't buy or download anything, though.

I wonder what the PSN server set up is here in Canada. I'm in Ontario and Vita PSN wasn't working as of a half hour ago for me.

I feel your pain friend. Everything is locked due to my console not being primary but, as someone said in this thread it's our fault for not having our consoles primary. We might not own two of them or want to share with our friends so yup our fault.

Vita didn't work yesterday, it does now for me, still a no go with the PS4. Can't play CODAW and Driveclub Online Challenges. I played Driveclub offline for the last two days. No idea whether the points will go towards my club or not..... :(

I wan't to buy BF4 premium which is on sale!! and I can't :(. it's my only chance because I have no money. I hate you people who are doing this to me and the others. I hope your pcs explode.

im in same boat, Wanna buy B4 premium as its a bargain but cant buy it!! got 4 days off work aswell which is adding too this torture
 
Vita UK has store and download list access for me now, can finally play something on my new Vita. Friends lists and such are still down though.
 
PS4 PSN still isn't working for me. Can't load the store at all, and the only reason I'm still playing FFXIV is because I managed to log-in to PSN yesterday for about a minute, and I haven't logged out yet. If I have to turn the PS4 off or if I totally lose internet connection, I'm fucked.
 
After few trials, I was able to get in the PS Store, redeem TLOU code and start downloading the games in my library LBP3, PvZGW and TLOU.

Downloads are very slow, but at least is a progress compared to yesterday.

I'm in Ontario Canada btw.

I'm rather surprised that remote play requires PSN to be up.

At this point I can sign into PSN, but things like the friends list are still throwing errors.

It is sad that the fact that PSN is working it is fucking news. I am really getting tired of this crap that we can't have some weeks without issues on PSN either Sony screws up or it is under DDOS attack or it North Korea, I just want Sony and PSN to stop being when they are actually working.
