Majora's Mask New 3DS LE does not include game or Adapter in USA

I don't like that it won't come with a charge because as someone who works retail its that much harder to explain to people and when there are still models being sold WITH a charger (2DS) this only makes it that much harder for the general public to understand. Those charges cost peanuts to Nintendo and is an odd thing to remove now of all times.

That said, I still bought the MM one without a second thought and its already sold out so I'm really glad I grabbed one when I did.
 
Good idea Nintendo. You've completely lost the ability or desire to actually gain new customers, so you may as well assume everybody actually buying your hardware already owns your hardware.
 
Seems like a good choice for the hardcore Zelda fans who would want this and already plopped down $50 for the Skull Kid figure and didn't want 2 copies of the game.
 
It's standard MSRP for the new 3DS XL, no? I don't have a problem unless the Euro bundle with game is the same price. I don't expect new hardware to come bundled with new games at no cost.

As for the adaptor, Nintendo has been doing this since the DSi XL in other regions and I while I was initially against it I have 5 adaptors from various handhelds. At this point it's really not necessary and an environmental waste and a tiny cost to get one. I'd have liked the charging cradle though.
 
I'd rather have the N3DS MM design without the game so I can purchase the MM 3D special edition separately and not have to buy MM twice. This seems to be standard price, so what is the problem? Except for no adapter, but that's the same as regular version?

Guys, just go and buy a Laptop or a Tablet with no AC Adapter. "Oh use an older one! or a cheaper chinese version that explodes on first us." This is unacceptable and some of you are defending it. That's sad. I do not care if it happens in other regions, this is fucking dumb and shouldn't happen in any region period.
 
when i bought my 3ds xl it didnt had a charger

allso itis normal price, its like you buy a red 3ds instead of the blue

Nintendo and they have been selling them without a charger in Japan and Europe for a long time. Now the US gets the same stupid decision Nintendo already made elsewhere.
 
Australia doesn't come with the game preinstalled either and we're actually a PAL territory.

I don't know man... My printer didn't come with the usb cable, and I was annoyed by it, but I wasn't outraged like some of you seem to be. First world problems I guess.
 
I have a feeling Gamestop has to implement a system that limits 1 per customer because the scalper stuff has got to go.
Glad I got my pre-order in though before they got them all.
 
Lack of game doesn't other me. Because I would rather buy the game separately anyways. I did and bought 2 Limited Editions.


The charger thing is annoying. But I will make due with my OG 3DS charger for now.


This is nothing compared to the fact that we are not getting the regular N3DS.


I have this sneaking feeling the DPi is really going to bother me.

This would be more like if you bought a printer and they didn't give you a power cord.

Also, you're comparing a generic USB cable with a specialized charging cord.
 
Imagine Sony not including an adapter with the Vita 2000 and ignorantly assuming everyone who has a vita 1000 will just upgrade to it.

Or Apple not including adapters with their newest iphone or iPad. Lol.

The lack of an adapter is legit bullshit. Its not a big deal for me as I have a shitton of them laying around...hell I might be using my DSi cable IIRC.

Still a baffling decision. I wonder why? Does it really save them that much more money?

The lack of a game however isn't a problem at all. It is the same price as the standard...with a cool design. The Monster Hunter one comes with the game and costs more. It really isn't rocket science here guys.

If I facepalmed any harder, I'd have to call an ambulance. This is the same company that has consistently been ranked last in Greenpeace's "Guide to Greener Electronics" due to their refusal to publish any records.
 
I hate that it doesn't include a charger or the game. I plan on keeping my ALBW LE 3DS XL and I pre-ordered the MM LE n3DS. My wife will probably play my ALBW LE some so we will either have to share an adapter, or purchase another adapter.

Also would have been nice if the game was pre-installed like ALBW.

The omission of the charging adapter is just penny-pinching bullshit.

Lack of game is kind of weird, but since the special 3DS is the same price as any other game-less New3DS, it's not a big deal really.

No adapter is inexcusable bullshit. It's not like adapters are an optional accessory. It is mandatory for the function of the device, and not including one in the base SKU is just greedy bullshit.
This obviously applies to the practice as a whole, not just for the Majora 3DS.

USB is platform agnostic and has a basic design anyone can make. Nintendo chargers are proprietary.

"Well this will be the 3rd or 4th 3DS for every person who will buy it. They have that many chargers anyways... so let's exclude it!"

Shows how insular/enthusiast they think the dedicated gaming handheld has become.
 
So far my anger towards the n3DS situation is the lack of options (n3DS XL only) and no charger being a bummer. Being upset that a certain system doesn't come with a certain game installed despite being the same price as other systems w/o a game isn't a reason to be upset

I imagine most players who get this are also interested in and/or have already preordered the limited edition of the majora game. they would be charged twice.

I agree about the charger though. stores in my country just include them for free, though. so I dont mind. but nintendo is cheap on that front, yeah.

Don't mind the lack of adapter either. Wish more products would stop including standard cables honestly.
 
The lack of AC adapter seem odd as fuck, like other have said what if this is your first 3DS? What if I want to trade in my old 3DS for a new one? Can't understand this decision.


To the person about printers not including USB cables, I find that stupid ass fuck too. God damn you HP/Dell/etc.
